NCAA Football 13

I'm getting it regardless. I just hope they have completed 100% correct rosters with the correct skill grades.

They also need to incorporate the Tyler bray throat slash celebration.

Good rosters will be up to the community to come up with. They will never (unless legistation changes it) have rosters that close to accurate in order to avoid problems with the AA. They cant use the likeness of real players in the game, and that is outside the control of the developers.

I just talked a dev friend of mine and he said that Tennessee would run through the T this year. About dang time on that deal. I asked him if he would make sure it plays our fight song "Rocky Top" after a td. He said he'd try. Idk

Please ask your friend if the general public will still have to pay $60 to be Beta testers. :bad:

You can put me on the list of those who are fed up with EA's sub par product and will not be pre-ordering or buying on release day. I hesitate to state that I will not buy it at all, but unless I see a revamped and retooled engine, all the known bugs fixed, and positive reviews from the gaming community, this will be the first time since the last century that I do not purchase a college football video game.

Man I miss Gamebreaker....

I'm a sucker, I'll be buying it. It's pretty much the only game I play a lot. 3 things I'd like to see.

Replace dynasty practice mode with scrimmage game.

Year long position changes/cut players. If it's in the game, well, yeah. It saves two weeks of the off-season which would speed up dynasties.

85 man roster

I'd also like to see a high school mode(maybe just an entire game, hehe). Especially since you can pretty much get most high schools from the teambuilder site. I'd love to play dynasty mode with a playoff.

They used to have the option of having a postseason playoff instead of the typical bowl game format. Agree, though. I wish we still had the option to do that.

I played 12 so much that I went from loving it to hating it.

I know they won't, but I wish they would redesign 13 from the ground up with an all new engine.

Since were talking about changes. I generally play in normal dynasty mode, not online. I think i would be cool if the coaching contracts had a salary tied to them. And you could use this salary to "buy" recruits without actually having to recruit them, lets say for example a 5* would be 2mil. You could also spend money to upgrade your athletic facilitys, campus, and other factors that influence recurits. Just my 2 cents. Thoughts?

all that would be cool, but until they fix simple gameplay issues, it would make any difference to me. Fix the anti collision issues and redo player ratings and actually make a difference between a running back who is 6ft 245 and one who is 5'8 190

Only if you could get put on probation for it.

And add in a new mode called NCAA Investigation Evasion where you could build up your cheating skills. Online Dynasty could include the opposite mode called NCAA Investigator. Heck make this thing an MMO. Get it done EA.

I just want my damn o-line to block someone.

Also eliminate that animation where a d-lineman politely lays down the o-lineman in front of him while the running back slips by untouched.

If the football portion was solid, I would fully support this going MMO. I've always been intrigued by the EAS Hockey League on the NHL games, I like the idea of being able to create a guy and play online with others to rank up your skills. Probably hard to get people excited to be an o-lineman, though.

Would be a complete cluster ****

Id like recruiting to have more to it and also have the option to do stadium upgrades, athletic facilities, ticket prices etc. The crowds still suck. Players on the sideline need more life. At least attempt to catch balls thrown their way or something. luz

The ability to train players weekly and them show progress. Scout opponents and gamelan accordingly each week.

Be awesome if they used more team chants and such. Halftime shows. Better commentating

I'd request a few things as a Vol fan:

1. Fix our entrance. Close, but no cigar.
2. Add the VOLS chant as it should be.
3. The crowd NEEDS to sing Rocky Top! If Florida fans on the game can sing their stupid "Go Gators, come on Gators, get up and go" chant, then the greatest crowd reaction to a fight song in all of college sports should be put in, too.
4. Our visitor section does not consist of 20,000 people like on the game.

My only gameplay complaints are on quarterback scrambles and option plays. The computer db sits there until the quarterback is 6 yards upfield and only then do they react. Same goes for option plays, but I found that running a Nickel package puts more speed on the field, so that kinda helps.

A few new dynasty additions should be put in, but that's a yearly thing to keep the game from going stale. The ESPN presentation is getting better, but nothing was as awesome as Chris Berman's show on NFL 2K5. And as mentioned, the crowd sucks.

I would just like to have actual physics be incorporated into the game. If small companies can get as close as they have to making cars feel as real as possible on a computer with no where near the processing power of a 3G console, there's no excuse for morphing and ball physics that belong in 1999.

Past that, they need to take a page out of FIFA or NBA 2K's playbook on how player development is supposed to work. I love FIFA's but NBA 2K11's career mode is a great challenge, and could work so well with college football.

My wish list:

1. Gameplay overhaul time. Option game, blocking, defensive AI all need a complete overhaul.

2. Fleshed out TeamBuilder options with better arenas/uniforms.

3. Better stat/record keeping for coaches and programs. I want to know not just how many bowls or championships I've won, but who against, what year, what the score was, etc.

4. I want a MUCH better transfer system. Players hardly ever, and I mean ever transfer from my school now that it's a dynasty. If the game won't do it automatically, then I want to know that when I manually cut a player (whether he's pretty good or junk) to actually transfer somewhere instead of disappearing into the abyss of deleted players. Have that 3-star I signed that gets recruited over the next year actually have an opportunity to play whether it be at another FBS school or down into the FCS. They don't have to have all the stat-tracking of the FBS schools, but they should have a portion of their seniors merged into the Madden draft classes and have their playoff systems, etc.

5. Still way more randomness tied to types of athletes, more randomness on busts, gems, and progression.

6. The sim engine has been a little better but it should be tied to even more playbook/offense/defense/sub options that vary how your statistics stack up at the end of the year.
