NCAA 11...will they fix it?

Well Madden has not huge AI problems. You can turn it down and sure it will be easier. It will work but you will not get better for when you play good human players. But as far as the comeback AI in Madden no it will have no affect. It is not a controlled option like in the original MAdden for 64...you could turn it on and off...I still have it(this is why I think younger players do not notice it as much or think it is real they do not understand it used to be a controlled option for years in the old days). As far as NCAA 10 there is no fix it is an abomination...it will make you want to throw the controller or think you are a super human player from one moment to the next. It just depends on what you like. I enjoy the puzzle and competition in controlled challenging gameplay. If you enjoy just playing and dominating the CPU then the controls you mentioned will work on either game. They will not affect human play...momentum based AI. They start fiddling with momentum AI in 09 but unleashed their monster in NCAA 10.

It was also a controlled option in the basketball games back in the day btw.

NCAA 07 was the best by far on the 360. the game its self is awful but gameplay is so easy u cant lose u score like a 100 points a game and theres even glitches where you do PA choice hand the ball of pitch it back to ur QB the defense thinks ur running and u throw the ball to a wide open receiver and even if he drops it the game thinks its a fumble u dont even have to catch the ball you can let it hit the ground and pick it up and run with it. IT IS AMAZING. plus when u would do it online people couldnt stop it and they would get so mad. it was so funny!!!!

There is no competition in the genre... EA won't seriously fix anything until you stop buying this load of crap they churn out annually.

This thread is hilarious. The randomness of '10 more than makes up for all the exploits in '09. The main things they need to fix in '10 are on defense. You should not get burned everytime you play zone against the CPU. Still too easy to stop the run out of 3-3-5, dime, and quarter formations. Run commit shouldn't be as effective if you guess correctly. Run commit shouldn't effect your DBs. Fix the DE running around the corner always beating the tackle or tightend.

You're asking alot for any true improvement with no competition. I've come to expect typical EA stuff since they've cornered the market, the same old bag of crap with a fresh coat of paint and an air freshener. They'll add some 'great new feature' and it will be great for a few weeks for a football fix, but i don't expect anything great.

actually they did a hell of a job completely revamping madden this last year compared to previous years; gameplay improved and feels and acts much more realistic IMO....so maybe there's a chance some of that trickles back down to NCAA, who knows?

now the question of course is do they take a big leap like last year, or do they fall back again like years past...

I think you can expect NCAA 11 to be extremely close to what Madden 10 is like. Which is a very good thing.

I'm tired of the NCAA franchise being the retarded brother of the NFL franchise every year.

I'd like to see a new recruiting system. Right now, if a recruit commits to you it is money in the bank. It'd be nice if it modeled real life and you had to work to keep some recruits from flipping before signing day.

I wish that you could recruit any player instead of just the ones with green spots. So you could recruit towards your system rather than the limited players that are interested in you.

i'm not sure what you mean volball. i've recruited alot of players that don't have interest in me at first. if you're persistent enough you can get them to sign with you. i've had several players do it in our dynasty.

I totally agree. They should be a bit more receptive to schools outside their list that are on par with the ones they are initially interested in.

Not the elite players, when someone high on their list is gunning for them. ESPECIALLY if it is a human user on that list gunning for them.

Alot of times, it's just a game of luck. If I'm not on a guys list first week, I can't get him if someone legitimately goes after him. I would like it to be structured to where the teams showing the most interest move to the top of his list. And then who recuits better from then on gets the committment.

Do you do more than quick call them? And set up you visits in Week 10-12. I made a QB recruit and it was the first time that I've ever gotten a guy that I've made. I didn't even have to get him to visit.

I'm talking more about recruiting against humans in an online dynasty. Most 5-star players have committed within like week 7. It's alot easier to recruit against the CPU because they are less aggressive. Waiting til week 12 for a visit with a elite player will inevitably screw you over.

I bought NCAA 10 for the PS2 last year and have been pretty happy with the decision. The PS2's gameplay feels way more fluid and is much less frustrating. Plus, you can convert roster files to play NCAA 05 thru 09 on NCAA 10.

The downside is the graphics. There are way too many jagged lines, even with the PS3's upscaling and smoothing.

Hopefully, NCAA 11 will give me a non-gimmicky reason to purchase the PS3 version in July. I want to see more realistic animations and better CPU AI.

This franchise needs competition in the worst way, unfortunately the way the video game market is set up that's not going to come any time soon.
