Sorry I didn't post this when it would have been useful, but instead of randomly giving some people a free pass out of the next round and random seeding, we should have had a group play round. With 24 or so, we break it into 8 groups of 3 teams. Thus, everyone plays 2 games in the group stage. The best 2 teams by wins or score differential as a tie-breaker from each group advances. This way, we would be able to properly seed based on record/score differential as well, and no one gets the advantage of having to win one less game like we have it now.

It would also have meant only 1 more game. 2 in the group stage, then down to 16 teams. That's 4 more games for the top 2 teams.

After getting back use to the game I remembered why I hate playing this online. Too many cheesers that quit once you go up by 14...

I don't get an easy game the whole tournament I don't think. Hman's grandson knew his offense. Difference was a pick basically.. also got a quick field in right before half and then he was forced into catch up mode.

Me neither. The 42-21 Jewbacca score is misleading, because I had a long fumble return for a TD and got a pick as well.

Next is Mason, who I will probably lose to with equal teams. The winner gets what-his-face that was in the Roses dynasty for a hot second and I only beat by a field goal, and on and on.


Too bad we couldn't do a group round for seeding.

I would totally be in for the grouping thing if everyone else would. I know people like Bass and VB might not like the idea. Only thing worries me is will IP and duck be around for it.

I thought we had already started. It's hard enough lining up games the way it is now.

Yeah, group play would have been interesting, but we've already started the tournament and everyone is already comfortable with the format. If we ever end up doing another one of these, we should definitely think about trying it out, though.
