We played an NFL schedule that led to 5-7. You played an east Tennessee high school football schedule for 8-5. Exaggeration put in to get the point across. Tennessee with your schedule last year wins 8 maybe 9 games

Sigh... UT leads the all time series with UNC 20-11. Tennessee will hang at least 38 on your vaunted defense. Defense/Special teams scores another. 45-20.

I don't go to packpride or whatever your gay site is and talk trash. This is volnation though and I've been bleeding orange since I could walk. Just come back and eat your crow. I live here bud. State doesn't even have 25% of the fans in NC...this state is overwhelmingly Tarheel with a few dookies and packfans mixed in. You guys have the 3rd best athletic program in your home state. Let's talk about "bottom halves" though. UT won a NC in 98, state never has. State fans are quick to claim the clout of being an ACC basketball school but they haven't held a candle to their 2 biggest rivals since when? Chris Corchiani and Rodney Monroe? Are you even old enough to remember the last time state won the ACC? Clue...it wasn't then...

Sounds like your brothers are a hell of a lot smarter than you. Engineering too, not bad. Most fan bases enjoy it when someone from their opponents team comes to their forum and talks some football, sorry I've offended you so terribly. Also, I live in Charlotte now, and if you're trying to tell me the % of state fans in NC based on this population, you're an idiot. 3/4 of the people in this town are not even from NC, including you. Of course UNC has more fans than NCSU. They also have more fans than Tenn. That's because you can watch/hear about/buy UNC gear anywhere in the world. Also, the last 5 years or so we've probably had the best football program, and while basketball is only finally coming around, to say we have the third best athletic PROGRAM in the state is ignorant.

We were one of only four teams in the entire country last year to make a bowl game, go to the sweet 16, and play in a SuperRegional. Not claiming to be unc status, but you obviously know nothing about NCSU, or anything outside of this yankee population in Charlotte

So we throw at him 12 times, he picks 3, gets one TD and "picks wrong on the other 6"; those WILL go for a TD if he picks wrong......I see that as at least 36 to 6 without the PATs. Maybe we should just throw at him deep all night.

So... we faced 7 defenses that ranked higher last season? I included ours because they practice against each other.

I get that he's only insinuating that NC State's D is different than what Tennessee has seen, not better. But given that Tennessee faced some of the top defenses in the country, I'm not sure this will be the advantage some NC State fans apparently think it will be. Tennessee has seen the best and the coaches have had all off-season to plan for this game.

I'm not writing NC State or their defense off but if these blitzes are as effective as the one poster seems to believe, I'm definitely going to worry about the rest of the season. I don't even want to see Bama, Florida, Georgia or South Carolina if that's the case.

Our WRs will have a field day if they blitz a ton in this game. They may try it the first half but I doubt they'll continue the 2nd half.

The other corner is merely decent. It would be stupid to throw towards Amerson when either Hunter or Darick are matched up on the other guy. NCSU has a good pair of safeties too.

Fully agree Justin, just poking fun at the guy when all we hear about is Amerson yet he makes bad decisions a lot. I would be surprised if we throw to him more than 2 - 3 times to keep him honest.
