'26 NC QB Faizon Brandon (Tennessee commit)

In my opinion, Hooker is the standard for the CJH era at QB. He hit the open receiver and the not yet open receiver and could run.
I don’t think you have to preface that with, “in my opinion.” He obviously was and is the standard in the Heupel era. But it’s time we put another QB out there who is at least close. Maybe hit the open deep shots?

I’m still a huge Nico fan
Unfortunately his dad is an idiot…

Brandon is probably a legit 4.55 guy at 230 lbs.
Smart. Stronger arm the Hendon has RIGHT NOW.

Grimsley plays some good teams this season.
Big test against 3A state Champion West Charlotte and then they play Varina out of Richmond Virginia.

Do I think he’s better than Nico at this point in their career. Hard to say…

But i promise you fans will blame Faizon Brandon if he doesn’t play lights out when he gets his chance. And on God it’s the offense and the current coaches itself that’s the problem. Nobody is going to get me to believe otherwise.

The sooner we can get rid of Halzle and Heupel can bring in a real OC to merge his system with the other coaches- the better off Tennessee will be.
I agree with this whole heartedly. Halze blows and has no vision. No creativity. I don't even this he is worthy of QB coach much less OC. To me Nico looked better before he spent a year with Halze

that said idgaf we got the best qb in the class committed and the only thing it's going to do is keep Tennessee out of the top 5 classes come signing day so they can justify Texas and UGA's "elite recruiting dominance" or whatever. it's all narratives! click click click click click $ $ $ $ $ $ $ $ $
100% agree @Go Fight Win Faizon is the #1 overall player in the class imo. His talent, performance, and potential is unmatched at the QB position.
