I had a PG on 13 that I had a fun time with.

I tried to make a SF, played through about 10 games, and I suck lmao. After I got a triple double in the showcase game I've played like crap.

Either way it's incredibly addicting.

Anybody play my team? I've probably spend close to 100 bucks on VC over the past few months and still havent gotten a good sg or sf out of a gold pack. It keeps giving me the same ****ty players over and over. Is there some kind of trick? I'm pretty pissed at 2k for making you pay real money to play this game mode anyway I'm about to just boycott it anyway.

I am right there with you. The only reason I bought this one is because the graphics. I have always loved Nba2k games but I should have waited till next year.

Yep. The make VC hard to earn and make upgrading your player cost a ton of VC so basically you either pay more money to buy VC or play 8 hours a day and earn enough to to barely increase any attributes. My myteam salary is over 2000 VC and it only gives me around 600 for winning a game. Its a complete joke.

Download the My 2k app on iPhone if you guys use that. You log in to your 2k account and get a daily VC bonus and can earn VC by correctly picking the day's NBA game winners. Usually you can earn about 1500 VC a day.

I love how when people cause an uproar about VC then 2k starts dropping free vc for people.

2K didnt do there best work on this game ill say. I would be so happy if they make a College or NFL football game as great as 2K series!! Be a huge dream come true

Funny. Everyone else, including professional game critics, say the complete opposite. Most reviews say this is THE next gen game to have.

My copy arrives today, and I hope it lives up to the hype.

Where can I get some of this VC stuff for free? Since it seems to be very important.

No no, i mean gameplay n graphics are great! Im sayin the game was rushed!!
they pushed it to get it on next gen.....the menus are awful and the VC is impossibly to hard

Is there some kind of a franchise mode that doesn't require that VC stuff?

Just one question....on inbounds, does the ball sometimes get kicked down the floor and the only guy that can pick it up is the guy doing the inbound? I've seen that run up to 30 seconds off the clock on the past 2 games. If they didn't finally fix that, it'd indicate to me that this isn't worth buying.

I remember at first last year the VC was really hard to acquire, but as I learned the ropes it became a lot easier. Let me know if this is the case with this game. I'm still playing 2k13

Nope! You can do a season but mygm requires vc.

Association is only on the last gen systems. Next get got myGM to replace it, apparently.

Why do you want association back, kwebb? It sounds like myGM is just an expanded version of association, with all previous features intact. I mean if they put association in, I'm sure they still would have added VC to it.

So you would like myGM if it weren't for VC? Sounds like everyone hates it. Maybe it will disappear for 2k15.

Have you tried that my2k14 companion app? I dunno what you do with it, but it gives you daily VC for doing something. I plan on looking into it when I get home and open my copy of 2k14.

I honestly have not played mygm. I hate that you need vc to unlock certain things for your gm to do.
