NBA2k13

I knew my player couldn't shoot but I didn't think he was 2/14 bad. Missed two open layups.

Still had 17 assists.

Picked it back after not playing for almost 2 months. Into it this go-round. I'm in my second season, and I started at 61 (I think), and now am at 67 (about 100 games...I played the first 25 or so, and have only been playing impact games since...by his 3rd or 4th year he'll be in the 80s...

I hate that if you make a pass that is tipped by the D you are penalized even if you complete the pass for an easy layup. No assist, and a drop in your teammate score is not justice!

It's frustrating how calling for the ball hurts your teammate chemistry so much. I just wanted to focus on keeping my teammate score up...I was at an A- going into the 4th, but only had 8 points and 5 assists. I got more aggressive in the 4th to get my stats up, and my grade dropped to a B. To get the most VC you have to have the ball in your hands.

I agree with you, the tipped pass thing is BS and it is really frustrating when you are wide open and call for a pass you get penalized.

MyPlayer is a stud. I need to start talking to the GM, try to get rid of some of these weak links on the Pacers.

Created a new myplayer as a SG, 3PT specialist. Drafted 3rd by the Wizards. Working out well so far.

Just cracked the starting lineup. 19 PPG in 22 MPG. I get tons of wide open looks because of Wall.

I am on the Raptors, traded T.Ross for Tony Allen.

I was a jerk my rookie year. Demanded to be traded from the Mavs, and then made the finals with the Pacers. I can't remember if we won though.

All I know though, I am tired of pulling all the weight on this team. My outside shot can't be beat.

Finally cracked the starting lineup with the Hawks as a SF. I'm about 25 games into my rookie season.

Some of the minor details are really cool. Like Chris Paul missed an open layup. It's something that does happen every blue moon in the real NBA, and I've only seen it happen once on the game. Same thing with a FT that rolled around the rim for seriously like 10 seconds before it washed down. I've only seen that once. Games usually create a detail like that, and then they have to show it off so many times it's not realistic.

Can't believe they didn't fix the glitch where the ball gets kicked all the way up the court before an inbound, and only one player collects it...then runs all the way down to inbound. Seriously takes like 30 seconds.

That glitch can go straight to hell!

Halfway through my 4th season I'm an 86. If you have enough patience to get through that first year it becomes really fun.

Picked this up for PC and man it's much better than the console versions. It loads 10x faster. The only gripe I have is it hasn't received the patch that console got so you have to jump through hoops to get playvision to work in MyCareer.

What I really like about the PC version is the ability to use custom sliders (via Cheat Engine) for MyCareer. That alone makes it worlds better than the console versions. I'm not sure why you can't do this to begin with.

I also like you can take out the attribute caps. You can also make your player as tall as you want. I made a 7'6" center similar to Shawn Bradley but I'm catering him towards being a faster rebounding machine. So far I'm doing ok, I really suck at offensive post play. I need to work on it but I think it's mainly because his ratings suck for offense. Played 26 games but, as a starter (10 games), he's averaging 13ppg 12rpg(3opg) 3bpg and 4apg. I got drafted by the 6ers so he mainly plays F until Bynum needs a break. With this dude and Bynum on the floor it's almost impossible to get shots down low. He has trouble keeping up on fast breaks but that'll change soon as I've almost got rebounding maxed out, next will be speed and quickness.

Is this worth $40?
The PC version is only $10 on Amazon if you have a PC that can play it.
I would say so. It's the best sports game I have played in years.
I think that trophy belongs to MLB The Show but it's a strong 2nd. 2k11 is still superior. This series is becoming like the EA football series, add very little new and update the rosters, sadly a lot of the old glitches find their way into the new games just like EA football where they have no competition to warrant making a better game.

Anyway, My 7'6 C is wreaking havoc on the boards. He had his best game vs the Nets. 41pts, 23 reb(7 off), 5 blocks, 6 assists, and 2 steals. Sadly he had 7 TO but that's because I'm neglecting to increase his handling of the ball. Most TO are bad passes.

I agree, I really enjoy this game but the Show still takes the cake.

My guy is 89 overall for midrange shots, but he bricks 80% of open midrange shots.

Are you short? My 6' 9" SF is an 80 from midrange, and I nail 20 footers all day over the top of opponents trying to close out.

I'm 6'8. I think the biggest problem I had was taking too many shots. The last 5 games I've avg 32 ppg and 12 boards.

I absolutely love this game, the computer cheeses so much on HOF but it makes it more challenging.
