I play for the Kings 6'6 Scoring SG, playing on all-star.. So far I've played only 10 games and I'm like a 67 overall but still am averaging 32-4-4.. I shoot like 30 times a game though hah.. Just takes so long to level up my player it's kind of annoying. Fun game though.
What pick did you get drafted? I was a 9 pick, and they started me at 63 overall, and I've only improved by 1 in 25 games since.

Or just play some regular online matches and get 250 vc per completed game.
Is that where it maxes out? Might as well play MyCareer...I'm getting better, I can get like 160+ VC in a game, and it builds towards season and career milestones which hopefully will give me enough VC to trump the 250 you earn there. Hopefully I'll start learning ways to improve my VC, too.
Overall it's just a very terrible setup by 2k this year. You shouldn't be able to go to a 99 overall in one season, but high 80's shouldn't be impossible to attain like it is now with this VC system. I MIGHT get to an 75 overall by the time the season ends, which is ridiculous considering my guy is already 23 years old.
What they need to do is make you a 75 for a picks 1-5, 72 for 6-10, and 70 for the rest of the lottery.
Also, I think it's silly that you pick your playing style and everything else is terrible. I wish they would let you pick three things you are really good at. Let's say I have a 6'11/260 pound old school center. So my three great skills are:
1) Great back to the basket game
2) Great defensive rebounding
3) Passing ability
So I now have three distinct skills and other things I can improve on.
If you want a 6'5/210 uber athletic guard.
1) Athleticism (Speed, Strenght, jumping ability, etc.)
2) Ability to hit shots in the paints
3) Ability to steal
Some idea like that.
