NBA Playoffs Thread

Very fair point. They are both iso based players. I thought Butler would more off ball/spot up but in the games I watched that wasn’t the case. I’m not sure Butler is a great fit.

I would have preferred Lavine over Wiggins long term but that’s another story. The biggest difference between Butler and Wiggins is if both players aren’t scoring the ball, Butler is still finding ways to impact the game. Wiggins will look disinterested and leave you wondering how many bowls he smoked before the game.

I think Thibs and ownership were hoping Butler’s attitude would rub off on Wiggins but it seems to have done the opposite. Back in 2014 at 20 years old, he was handed the keys to the franchise. He was the future in Minny, winning ROY and flashing superstar moments. He has since been surpassed by 2 players on the team. That can be tough on a kid especially when one of them is the player other people want you to be

Lebron now has the most first team all-NBA selections in history. Good luck breaking that record. He might have 2 more left in him.

Houston should be up 10 right now. You can’t give Golden State chances like that.

Officuals can wipe points off the board an entire possession after the points were scored?

Yessir they can. More than an entire possession. If the ref marks to check shot clock or three point shot after the bucket

Oh my god how the hell do you give the ball to Draymond there???

You got Curry and Durant and you go Thompson in game 4 and Green in game 5...

Too bad CP3 is done.

Hopefully Chris Paul is okay. It would really suck if the Rockets lose this series without him.

He's done, IMO. You could see it in his face. You know when your hamstring is ****ed. It's not like a knee or an ankle that might feel better in 2-3 days. That **** takes weeks.

It would be crazy if Harden goes crazy and they close out GSW, but don't have enough fire power to put C's/Cavs away.

Paul is done think. The Ws were going to win the last two either way but it's 100% now.

I have no idea what the Warriors are doing. I saw a stat that last night the two plays they ran the most were Durant in the post and Durant in iso. When they won game 3 by 40, their most-run play was Curry/Green pick n' roll. They're basically only playing 6 guys, and maybe they're too tired to run the offense.

It's not like Looney is playing that well (Rockets shot 50% on him the last 2 games). If they can afford to put him in, I don't see why they can't put McGee in for a few minutes here and there.
