Very fair point. They are both iso based players. I thought Butler would more off ball/spot up but in the games I watched that wasnt the case. Im not sure Butler is a great fit.
I would have preferred Lavine over Wiggins long term but thats another story. The biggest difference between Butler and Wiggins is if both players arent scoring the ball, Butler is still finding ways to impact the game. Wiggins will look disinterested and leave you wondering how many bowls he smoked before the game.
I think Thibs and ownership were hoping Butlers attitude would rub off on Wiggins but it seems to have done the opposite. Back in 2014 at 20 years old, he was handed the keys to the franchise. He was the future in Minny, winning ROY and flashing superstar moments. He has since been surpassed by 2 players on the team. That can be tough on a kid especially when one of them is the player other people want you to be
