I didn't say I was driving the Utah train dummy. The last couple years I care less if my team wins and just want to be entertained. Mitchell is really entertaining, and I like Ingles attitude of getting in peoples faces and talking ****

Sixers vs Heat is getting chippy. Surprised Drajic didn't get ejected there. Straight up took a swing at Simmons. Open hand, but still.

Got hurt a lot, sucked at offense, got routinely abused on defense, and lost minutes to Kelly Olynyk. Then cried about his minutes a whole bunch. That's about it. Lol

Wow a lot of praise for Sam Hinkie, a guy who take Michael Carter Williams over Giannis, Jahlil Okafor over Porzingis, and trades Jrue Holiday for Nerlens Noel

Sam Hinkie is the man........ no one knew what Giannis would be ..... you can do that with every single draft and GM.... rumors has it he wanted Porzingis but it was part of management starting to step in..... I’m glad we didn’t get porzingis bc then Big Ben May have not happened..... the jrue holiday trade was awesome and helped set up the process.

Look at all the trades, he absolutely dominated and the sixers cap situation that is due to Hinkie.
Hinkie died for our sins.

Carter-Williams was a guy that he tricked the Bucks into over inflating his value and getting a top 3 draft pic for.

Hinkie couldn’t draft worth ****.

You know it and I know it. That’s why he got fired. The Jrue Holiday trade was awesome? Nerlens Noel sucks.

You can tank and get assets (Hell I wish my Pistons did) but the revisionist history on Hinkie by Philly fans is silly.

He got fired bc the commish of the league made them fire him..... everyone in Philadelphia loves the guy..... the only mistakes I think he made was holding onto Noel and okafor too long instead of showcasing them and getting value earlier.

Don’t try and tell me anybody is a genius when he drafts a center with three straight top six picks. Colangelo has done a great job building this team with his trades and free agent signings

So his only mistakes were blowing the #3 pick by drafting a center for this third straight year who sucked...and trading an all star guard for Nerlens Noel...who sucked...I guess blowing top six picks are no big deal

Yep he did. He probably would have been much better in the 80's and 90's, quick centers or centers that can shoot to 15 feet are bad news for him, as he just wants to hang around the rim and get blocks.

Well for starters our management team started getting cold feet and didn’t want Hinkie drafting another foreign guy like they did with saric..... they preferrred the big name off Jahlil..... even if not true the plan was to gain assets..... take gambles to get the highest potential player.... have as many chances as you can by securing draft pics...... jrue holiday didn’t start over 37 games with the pelicans till his fourth season after the trade and he is getting paid like he is Kevin Durant..... He is not Kevin Durant..... if their was no such thing as a salary cap, a player like jrue is good to have. It is kind of like Conley with Memphis..... they are winning nothing paying Conley that much.

Hinkie is responsible for Embiid, saric, Covington,Simmons, the third pick in the draft that turned into fultz, TJ, and all the salary cap that will enable us to build the team into a dynasty if colangelo makes the right moves.

If you’re drafting that player as a potential trade chip with the #3 pick then you shouldn’t be drafting that player to begin with. And he still traded Jrue Holiday for Nerlens Noel. That’s a bad play. He also blew the MCW pick.

So yes he can manage a salary cap and get assets but he showed little drafting acumen his time there. And I’m still putting an asterisk on Embiid because he could fall apart at any point.

Also Colangelo drafted Simmons, not Hinkie

Like I said I completely get the process and don’t blame him at all for what he did. He did a nice job getting some assets and I agree with the draft heavy approach.

He still sucked at drafting.
