OK . . .The mere fact that Atlanta forced a Game 7 is an accomplishment and Boston is clearly a superior team, but this is pretty much an embarrassment right now.

Yes it is...Boston is killing them right now. I do agree with ya also about the accomplishment part.

when I was in college were on the downside of their glory days, but still battling the Pistons for East supremacy. When I moved to Boston for grad school, they were atrocious and the town was awfully down on them. I suspect a loss here will bring some of that roaring back.

FWIW, Boston, much like Philly, is much better as a lovable loser style place than the insufferable winners they have become.

I find that with regard to the Red Sox, the town keeps their heads on straight. However, the Patriots' fans are enough to make you want to puke. I can't take it. Even in the midst of winning they find crap to complain about. We'll have to wait and see how the modern Celtics fans take it - but I know that there are a lot of bandwagon fans for sure. I am a bandwagon fan. I haven't followed the NBA, but they have me interested. If I actually had a NBA team before I came here, I probably wouldn't follow them - but I like KG and I don't have a team, so I'm rooting for them.

Yeah...it's pretty ridiculous that Boston has maintained double their score (or more) late into the 3rd quarter.

This is how Boston should have handled Atlanta on the road, really...but something lit a fire under Atlanta at home, and they played very well.

Not when they're elsewhere in the country, they don't. They're worse than Yankees fans now.

It's about time that the Celtics looked like the team that absolutely dominated the East and played quite well against the West....I just hope they find this form in the coming round(s)

You're going to have to hope that they keep blowing people out, because the Celtics looked pretty old in the fourth quarter of all the close games in this series.

If the Celtics wanted to look like the team that dominated the east, they would have taken care of ATL in four. They may be crushing the Hawks right now, but this series ain't good for the C's.

Atlanta did make them look old....

Boston has a long way to go, and I'm not sure they'll make it. They do need good starts...and need to continue their solid D.

I hate the Spurs, but what they've done with essentially a team with guys nobody wanted (outside of Duncan) ha been remarkable,

So . . . Would anybody actually like to discuss the NBA playoffs?
