I'm not a Spurs fan. I'm a Laker fan. I just love to see a dynasty succeed with the team concept and with clutch players. Sorry you've been stuck with 20 win seasons the past 5 years

How's that a bandwagon fan? I'll be cheering for the Lakers to pull the upset when they play in the Western Conference Finals.

Nah, I'll take solace in the fact that I root for the teams I've liked since I was 5 years old. Not some reason like "I LIKE THEM CUZ THEY WIN AND PLAY GOOD AND OTHER STUFF" like 80% of the bandwagon Spurs fans.

Ok well the conversation you are having right now is not with one of those 80% people, so you have to pick a new approach. I have liked the Spurs since I too was 5 years old. I used to love David Robinson. I have like a million basketball cards of him still. I'm not like a die hard Spurs fan but I just respect a franchise that does things the right way and doesn't play some Eurotrash style of play. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that.

And even if I were a bandwagon fan...what do you care? Do you have nothing better to do? You've proven your point about how you hate the Spurs and how you think they're boring. We got it. Some people appreciate a solid fundamental team, that's not my argument, that's just a fact. I don't understand why that is such a big deal to you. So they aren't flashy...who cares, they win, which is the point of playing the games.

We would rather it be dead. But thanks for your concern. In my opinion we may actually be able to discuss basketball, not just defend why we like the Spurs style of play every single time we come in here.

You've made your points on the Spurs, now can't we just move on?

These are two entirely different teams. I understand home-court advantage, but this is absolutely ridiculous so far.

when I was in college were on the downside of their glory days, but still battling the Pistons for East supremacy. When I moved to Boston for grad school, they were atrocious and the town was awfully down on them. I suspect a loss here will bring some of that roaring back.

FWIW, Boston, much like Philly, is much better as a lovable loser style place than the insufferable winners they have become.

OK . . .The mere fact that Atlanta forced a Game 7 is an accomplishment and Boston is clearly a superior team, but this is pretty much an embarrassment right now.
