If Arenas was anywhere near his 06' form the Wiz would have this thing wrapped up....but I think these injuries have took a mental toll on agent 0.

The Wizards cant rebound for ****

The Suns are currently obliterating the Spurs. It's a little late for them to be playing their best defensive game in the last 3 years though.

It is amazing to think that two seasons ago, Dallas was up 14 with 5 minutes to go in Game 3 of the NBA Finals with a 2-0 series lead.

If you're not watching the Hawks/Celtics game you need to start. The Hawks are playing out of their minds.

... You have to be kidding me. I know I've been like a broken record trash-talking the eastern conference, but it can't be good when its crown jewel is getting upstaged by a team that's well-below .500 and would have no business being anywhere near the playoffs most years.

Young playoff teams occasionally play out of their minds on their home floor. Herculean efforts by Joe Johnson and Josh Smith had absolutely nothing to do with your farcical rants against the Eastern Conference. I would have thought Boston's 25-5 annihilation of the West this season would have finally knocked some sense into you (which includes a clean sweeping of the Texas triangle and your poster child Lakers).

Hardly. Regular season records have not been indicative of much in the NBA lately. Good as Boston may have been in the regular season, the playoffs are a different game altogether. They are still unproven in that regard. My prediction is that they lack the depth to win it all. We'll see how that turns out though.

As for right now, Boston has just lost two games in a row to a bad team. This one's going at least six, and that does not bode well for a team with a short bench.

Before the acquisition of Sam Cassell, I would have also shared your sentiment.

Going 12 or 13 deep is not the equivalent of a "short bench." Outside of Detroit, nobody else is deeper in the Eastern Conference.

the celtics problem is they don't have a player who wants the ball (or who should want the ball) in the 4th quarter. garnett refuses to take the big shots.
