The fact that he's not an all star starter further proves are idiots. Dude has been playing great this year. Portland scares me as an OKC fan.

I'm more excited than most about this year so far, but I still have a hard time seeing this team make it past the 2nd round.

Right now they'd match up with Golden State, that'd be a hell of a series. Suns or Clippers would be a better match up for yall.

Sometimes i wonder if MVP really is given to the most Valuable player or do they just give it to the best player.

Same with the Heisman, seems like they usually give it to the best player on the best team, not just the most outstanding player.

I have no idea, but I do know Nash having 2 while Kobe and Shaq have 1 a piece is just stupid. And MJ should probably have 10, no matter how you decide. Oh and my boy should have one, Chuck and Shaq say so. 24pts 8.9 asts 6.5 rebs 2 sts 3-1 ast to t.o. ratio while being first team all defense. Psh

Bosh cant rebound, hell 2 of their best rebounders are Birdman and Oden and Oden played in his 4th game tonight for a season high 10 minutes. Other than them you have Haslam and Lebron, and since Lebron leads the team in rebounds, that's another reason i have him over George.

I'd agree with this. The last three years, you could have taken LeBron out of the Heat lineup and Wade and Bosh would have still carried them to being one of the best teams in the East. Not so any more with Wade struggling to even stay healthy. Take PG off of the Pacers right now and they're still one of the two best teams in the East.

SGs used to be one of the 2 strongest positions for most teams, it's the weakest for a lot of teams now. Conversely the center position has gotten better across the board. True the game has evolved, but the number of guys that can play has definitely grown in the past 2-3 years.

I think it was a trend to put the scoring burden on the SG. I don't think there were a ton of SGs good at it. I think they just gave them shots and they took them because everybody wanted an MJ.

Lamarcus Aldridge 2nd in MVP contention behind Slim Reaper?

I'll take Batum, Matthews, and Lillard over Aldridge. Lopez is even having a better season. LA's .519 TS% isn't what's winning them ball games and he's not a great defender. He's finally having a good season on the glass, though.

Lol I almost said just Blake then thought well that wouldn't make sense. Iirc Huff doesn't like Aldridge.

The funny thing is, my knock has always been rebounding but he's always been a pretty good scorer. This year his efficiency is way down and he's rebounding well. LOL

I've always enjoyed watching him play too. He's never going to score a ton of points, but he rebounds, plays defense and leaves everything on the court when he's out there.

He's just all around. Not big scoring totals (slightly below average), but .686 TS% and he does everything else pretty well. His rebounding numbers are a bit low this season.

Box Score Geeks - Stats for Portland Trail Blazers

How exactly is that "Wins" stat calculated, and what does it actually represent? Only curious because when you add everyone's stats up from the Pacers it comes out to about 32.3 wins, and they've actually won 33. Being off by 3/4 of a win can't just be attributed to rounding.
