Is it just me or does it seem like the number of quality 2's is decreasing, while the number of quality 5's is increasing?

I don't think I agree with the first part and I think the 2nd part is a product of the position evolving. The 80s and 90s were a fluke with so many 7' 285 lb guys who had incredible physical talent. That's not normal. I think faster, leaner centers are the future. With help D being so important (the way fouls are called for hand checks, etc.) having a big who can quickly sprint baseline to baseline, protecting the paint and giving you 32 minutes of strong effort is something we didn't ask of guys like Shaq and Hakeem.

SGs used to be one of the 2 strongest positions for most teams, it's the weakest for a lot of teams now. Conversely the center position has gotten better across the board. True the game has evolved, but the number of guys that can play has definitely grown in the past 2-3 years.

Davis is a better talent, but Jordan is off the charts right now.

Jordan's rebounding is ridiculous right now, Davis is better at everything else though. My problem with Jordan is you almost can't play him in a tight game late as he shoots 40% fts, that's not a problem with Davis at 75.5%.

Who would be your top 5 MVP guys?
KD
Aldridge
PG
LBJ
CP3
in that order for me.

KD
Aldridge
LBJ
PG
Harden

I put Lebron over PG because i think Pacers have a better team all around. If you took PG and Lebron off of their teams, Pacers are still a lot better than Miami, imo. Paul George is having a better year though.

2 things from Inside the NBA tonight.

"calling Nick Young Swaggy P is like calling a grown man Boo"

Kendrick on Shaqtin a fool lol

I agree with that actually.

Sometimes i wonder if MVP really is given to the most Valuable player or do they just give it to the best player.

Same with the Heisman, seems like they usually give it to the best player on the best team, not just the most outstanding player.

Bosh cant rebound, hell 2 of their best rebounders are Birdman and Oden and Oden played in his 4th game tonight for a season high 10 minutes. Other than them you have Haslam and Lebron, and since Lebron leads the team in rebounds, that's another reason i have him over George.
