Stephen, do you have much access to actual televised NBA games over there or is watching online pretty much your only option if you want to follow the league.

Every year we go through the same thing, all the channels go silent, they wait for you to go desperate and buy league pass and then announce the tv coverage a few weeks into the season. They try to grow the game here, by sending the regular season games here, but we cannot get a proper tv deal...

I am going to get league pass for the first time this year, I'm tired of getting two games a week, one of which is always the Lakers.

Speaking of overreactions, let's pump the brakes on conspiracy theories for a game that almost nobody is going to see TOP. Pacers are just playing bad. Not all that uncommon when you have to travel and play the second game of a back to back on the road.

I've said before I think the NBA is rigged. It's not anything new... and it's not just because of the Pacers. Lakers over Kings, Lakers over Blazers, Heat over Mavs all looked blatantly rigged imo. I only watch because I've always been a Pacers fan. I don't doubt though that the league is rigged.

As for the Pacers playing bad, it helps make them look bad when the refs call 5 fouls on them in the first 3 minutes and give Hibbert 2 in less than 2 minutes for standing next to someone. Then they gave West a 3 second violation. Did you not see Vogel and the players blowing up because the calls are absolutely terrible? Vogel was furious. So I'm not the only one who thinks all of these calls have been b.s.

Heat lost to the Mavs. There went that theory.

Well, if you didn't just jump on the Lebron bandwagon you might recall 2006 when the Heat beat the Mavs and Wade broke Michael Jordan's record for free throws attempted... but okay.

See ya guys around.

Interesting. Another question that had nothing to do with basketball, but which all English soccer leagues get full TV coverage over there? Obviously the EPL games are going to be on, but is the interest level in the second and third tiers great enough that those games are widely televised as well?

If you wanna watch a fun rookie, Kentaviius Caldwell-Pope is exciting.

The EPL does not get full coverage. You guys get more games than us...

The championship gets one or two games a week I think, and League one gets one game a week and then the rest is all wrapped up in a highlights show called "the football league show".

And clearly I'm not wanted here so I'm out for the season.

Oh come on man, don't leave me in here as the only Pacers fan. I don't discount some level of conspiracy in the late rounds of the playoffs, but I'm just not buying into it for a game on the second night of the season in a game that really only the die hard fans if these two teams is going to see.

There's been some questionable fouls, but I'd attribute the majority of the struggles to poor shooting and WAY too many turnovers. Plus, the Pelicans aren't exactly the scrub team they've been the past couple seasons.

On my way out, all I'll say is...

End of 1...
Pelicans free throws: 7 attempts
Pacers free throws: 0 attempts

Paul George shot a 3 at the buzzer and the commentator pointed out that he was blatantly fouled.

The officiating seems pretty fair though. But yeah, have a good season, all.
