The Pacers have officially gone in the tank. Given how pathetic the East has been all year it has been assumed they were going to end up playing the Heat by default for a trip to The Finals. However, unless there's some radical improvement in the next month or so, this team won't make it to the ECF.

Andersen gets 13 (8 shots) and 11 in 23 minutes. Bosh gets 15 (10 shots) and 8 in 32 minutes. Bosh gets the headlines.

I'm not even talking about whether they can give the Heat a run. At least they've had LeBron and Wade missing games as an excuse. The Pacers are at full strength and can't beat anybody but the Sixers. Unless they get their act together, they aren't even going to beat the Bulls or Nets in a best of 7 series, much less the Heat. Fortunately, they've still got about 6 weeks to get things straightened out.

Remember when someone said Kyle Korver was a top 25 player in the NBA?


Hibbert is a key piece for Indiana to beat Miami and get to the NBA Finals, Drummond can go 30 and 20 every night and Detroit might make the playoffs. Hibbert is more important to his team's ultimate goal than Drummond is to Detroit right now. Drummond is a better player than Hibbert, no question.

Dirk an Calderon were clutch last night. That was awesome. Even Durant wasn't long and athletic enough to throw Dirk off his rhythm.
