So because I may be a racist, I can't say that Dobbs and QD have had equal opportunities? Dobbs, not by his choice due to injuries, got to play each year he was on the team. Dobbs essentially got 4 years to grow his game, mechanics, smarts, and what not. QD got his first start his Junior year. For the record, I have NEVER said QD was a better anything than Dobbs. The only time I ever mentioned anything between to two was during the South Carolina game in 2016. It was evidently clear that Dobbs couldn't hit a receiver at all the entire game. The best move would have been to pull Dobbs for a series or two for QD to see if he could get anything going. That's not racist.
But according to you, if QD would have come in and gave us two good series, it would have been unfair to Dobbs I am sure.
And once again, your putting words into my mouth because you can only cry racism when you can't have a legitimate discussion.
And on Peterman and the Bills, you clearly only read headlines. Yes he threw a pick vs the Jags. No one, including myself, ever thought he was gonna have a chance to tie the game up in that situation. Not because of his ability, but because of the Bills.
Secondly, I bet you didn't even watch the Chargers game in his first start did you? Once again, this is what happens with people who only read the box scores. Nate did have 5 picks in that game. However, if anyone was reasonable and watch the highlights or game itself, you would see that 3 of those picks were balls that hit a receiver in their brick hands, got hit while throwing the ball thanks to porous line, and a receiver not running out his route.
Since you only look at headlines, here is some context for you:
Nathan Peterman Throws 5 INTs in First Half of First NFL Start | Bills vs. Chargers | NFL Wk 11 - YouTube
00:35- First Pick hit full back in hands and he bobbles it resulting in a pick 6.
01:00- Second Pick thrown under pressure into middle of the field. Horrible decision, but rookie mistake. No QB, white or black, gets away with that in the NFL
1:30- Third Pick thrown while getting hit. Had an open receiver, but got hit throwing the ball up for grabs to the secondary. Hardly QB's fault for throwing that with a porous line
1:45-Fourth pick wasn't thrown outside enough. Rookie Mistake. Can get away with that in college, but not the pro's. This is a very common mistake that happens with rookie QB's. Yes K Town, even white Qb's can make these mistakes.
2:35- Fifth Pick was a result of the receiver not running out his route.
Even on the highlights, Nate bounced back and made some good throws. Losing the #1 receiver as rookie hurts bigly. Are you denying that?
He's hardly the basketcase that you make him out to be.
But all that matters to you is that I am apparently a racist because I choose to use context when breaking down QB play.
