Here's a fact some dont know....those of us born in 1976 have huge ass bicentennial birth certificates the size of pictures with the eagle and us stamp on gold.

Empathy is good for dealing with infants. Not so good with kids, and especially poisonous for adults. Anyone who has ever seen a helicopter parent up close understands that instinctually.

No one enjoys being around people who were raised on an obsessive need for empathy. And if you are ever around someone with a similar need on treating your failures with empathy you should run, because people like that do not want to see you succeed.

We have an excess of empathy in government from both parties, not a shortage.
