What the Hell is wrong with people? What kind of kids are "we" raising? By we, I mean Americans...not me. My kids fear and respect God, their parents, and this Country ...and Love all 3. God, Family, Country. We arent the only ones doing it right...I know that, because the other kids that go to school with mine and their parents seem to all be good people with good morals....

I am admittedly blind to what goes on in public schools and big cities though...

Ras just said it all guys...HOW the Hell do we have all these disillusioned kids that seem so hopeless and lost and open to these terrible IDEAS like socialism, cancel culture, and all this other BS??? Has my generation and the 1 before it failed so miserably???

I know Loother had kids...so I fully expected them to be completely lost, regardless of going to good schools...but are all the rest of the morons out there just reproducing like rabbits or what? I posted a week or 2 ago...for the 1st time in my life I am seriously worried about the world my kids will live in...especially when I am not here to protect them anymore....

What do yall think about all this stupidity on display all around the US???

Wow...this election will tell the tale I think. If we elect another Dem with the country this vulnerable...I think it is over for the US as we know it. Period. The insanity going on now will become the new normal....we will be done. A laughingstock to the world.

This is the result of decades of liberal policies. Decades of turning away from God. Decades of immorality and sin acceptance. Decades of laziness and poor parenting. Decades of pushing Mom out of the home and into the workplace....so most kids are raised by strangers being paid....decades of people knowing what they are doing is WRONG but doing it anyway..
.Decades of making fun of Dads at every turn and pushing them out of the parenting equation....

What do we do? What CAN we do? The youth of this country is out there burning it to the ground...WHY???

Basically, you're just astoundingly ignorant.
Your view of what you are admittedly blind to is provided by right wing media.
You see what they want you to see, which is the worst.
Unlike you, I am acutely aware of what goes on in public schools and big cities, so I'll give my perspective the nod.

Maybe we should sacrifice these children to appease God like the Aztecs, Carthaginians and other pagans did? The country is not being burned to the ground. There are lots of protesters like Luther and his family who believe in God, family and their country. You cannot make blanket assumptions about people.

What I see in your post and Ras' is a $hitload of blame placing right wing evangelical paranoia. I've been hearing it since I attended a Bob Jones University satellite school from 4th to 12th grade. I sincerely believe young people are rejecting Christianity because of people like you. The judging, prejudice and bigotry of the Christian Right has permanently turned off a lot of young people to Christianity, who mistakenly believe all Christians think like you. And your kind has been baying about the demise of the family since the 1950s.

I know of no one or no group that wants to destroy this country. From Neo-Nazis to socialists, people simply want to change the country to, in their eyes, make it a better place. I have yet to see evidence of any anarchists at work.

Young people have been rebelling against the traditions of their elders since the days of the Romans. Young people of today are protesting because they see the need for change in our world. They don't see color, gender and sexuality like a lot of folks born before the 90s. They see unfair treatment of people and they want it to end. You can condemn them all you want and criticize the families from which they come, but I admire anyone for taking a public stand for justice. I do not condone violence and destruction of property, but I am proud of these young people for caring about our country and how it operates.

One of the things that surprised me at the rally/protest my wife and I went to yesterday was that most every speaker talked about their faith and that God would be the one to lead the country through these difficult times.
Side note..........I, nor my family, are very "religious" people.

The intentional dumbing down of Americans via our educational systems has been happening for decades.

I saw it first hand, over 20 years ago, with my girls when they’d get home from school and we’d discuss what they were being taught. Or something would make the news and their understanding of it and the history behind it was just inaccurate and incomplete. When I’d question the validity of their stances and statements it was always right back to what they were being taught in school, or weren’t being taught. Education was becoming dangerously changed and sanitized even then.

There are some that quit every occupation within 3 years. That's certainly not unique to the teaching profession.

Do those occupations have exit interviews/surveys that specifically states certain policies as reasons to quit?

I did take trap and skeet shooting as one of my PEs at TTU. One of my favorite classes.

Probably.
If those certain policies were different policies then you would have different teachers quitting in the first 3 years and listing those policies as the reason.
Education has evolved and not always in the best way. I see plenty of things I feel have gone to far or not far enough. I would think anyone in any profession would say the same .
