Nancy Guthrie made posts on a neighborhood app that revealed she had previous run-ins with criminals outside her $1 million home and the reason she decided to buy a doorbell camera.

Guthrie, herself, dealt with such crime at least once, in September 2024, her profile showed.

'Male thieves. Package stolen from front door yesterday. Be alert US POST OFFICE DELIVERED,' she wrote at the time.

A little over a year later, Guthrie asked about getting security cameras - but not for safety concerns.


'I'm thinking about buying ring or nest security/doorbell camera? Any suggestions? Which has the best camera?' she posted on November 25, 2021, noting that she was 'interested in seeing animal activity at night.'

DNA testing in Nancy Guthrie case yields no database match​

The unknown male DNA profile on a glove found two miles from the home of Nancy Guthrie has been run through the FBI’s DNA database – and did not result in any hits, Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos told Fox News chief correspondent Jonathan Hunt in an interview on Tuesday.

DNA recovered from Guthrie's home also did not match records in the FBI database, Nanos said. The sheriff confirmed that the DNA on the glove was different from the DNA found inside the home.
