So apparently the local Sheriff sent evidence to a private lab in Florida instead of letting the FBI send to their lab in Quantico.

She's the 84yo mother of Today show host Savannah Guthrie that was taken/kidnapped from her Tucson home.

There has been wall-to-wall coverage of it on every news channel for two weeks now.

Oh ok. I've never heard of either one of those people. The fact that a thread was started dedicated to this made me think there might be some importance to the case.

Savannah Guthrie has been the co-host of the Today Show for the last 14 years. You have heard of the Today show on NBC?

Unless you pay attention to mainstream media it's not really a thing. Do non-booners even watch the Today show? This thread is the most I've heard about it. I really find no reason to keep up with the random story

What media do people watch then? It's been all over my X feed and I follow over a dozen different non mainstream media sites.

Checked my feed and nothing. I don't use X often but I didn't usually get celebrity news. How would this be considered a political story?

Now I find James Vanderbeek's story much more compelling and political. People need to get checked but our hc system is not into preventative care

It's been available in our area for a while but we had been putting of actually getting installed in the house but was told they were going to shutoff any remaining DSL subscribers. So last Friday they came and ran it into the house.
