Let me expand on this. I don't know anything about any S&C coaches' resumes. I do know, however, that every S&C coach that has been here since Kiffin has gotten rave reviews. Which tells me, whoever we hire, we're probably gonna be happy about it, be disappointed when they end up leaving, and be none the wiser thereafter.
Another example. Someone compared our previous strength coach to Stanford's current one. Our guy may have been 10 times better...but Stanford just won a BCS bowl, absolutely pounding VT in a gritty, let's lift weights fashion.
But yes, I will agree that S&C is very important. But I would disagree who we pick to make our players lift would make or break the program (which is what is what I consider important).
