Working in North Georgia, I have to put up with a bunch of homer kool-aid drinking Dawg fans.
After reminding them of the 51-33 & 35-14 butt kickings rendered by the Vols the last two years, they generally retort with, "Wait til you get a dose of Moreno." or "Ya'll haven't seen Moreno yet," or "Moreno wasn't in the game plan against the Vols."
I woke up at 6:00 this morning, and had the Vols on my mind(due to the O&W game), so I watched the whole 2007 UGA game, and enjoyed watching Foster beat the Dawgs down.
But what I saw completely disproved what the Georgia gobblers are saying.
However, Tennessee has already shut him down once, and they have shut down good backs in the past. (McFadden, Jones, etc...)
Moreno is a great player, but he isn't superman.

Myth: Tennessee played UGA without Moreno being in their game plan, and 2008 will be the first time the Vols will really have to face him.
Fact#1: Moreno had more than double (13) the carries of any other UGA back that day (6).
Fact#2: Moreno lead the team in receiving yards at the half.
Fact#3: Thomas Brown (the starter) didn't play one snap in the second half, and Moreno was featured the whole second half.
Fact#4: Moreno had averaged 90 yards a game in their 3 previous SEC games against SC (104yards), Bama, & Ole Miss. So to say he wasn't already in UGA's game plan is downright silly.
Fact#5: Tennessee shut his butt down on 13 carries for 30 yards (2.3 a carry).
Fact#6: Georgia Tech shut his butt down too (17 carries for 45 yards- 2.6 per carry, 0 TDs)
Fact#7: He only carried the ball 9 times against an awful Hawaii team.
Not trying to take away from Moreno's accomplishments, and he probably is the most dynamic back in the SEC East this year. Fact#1: Moreno had more than double (13) the carries of any other UGA back that day (6).
