My wife is born and raised here in Knoxville, TN. Her father is a UT alumni. And she has never been to a UT game! WHAT!
I had no idea about this until about a week ago when we were talking about how awesome it would be to be at Neyland during the GA game.
I am a transplant from Texas and admittedly have been won over by the passion, pageantry, and .... pBadassness (Sorry needed another P word) that is UT football.. and the real UT at that! Admittedly, I have only been to two games... 2010 Alabama game (ouch.. but stayed the whole time!) and last years Troy game.
My wife and I have a 9 month old daughter at home and we figure its about to time to let a grandparent or two watch her for a day... So I just bought us 2 tickets to the game tomorrow!
Paid $100 ticket even for Section C Row 14 Seats 5 and 6. I was afraid it may be a little too low and we won't be able to see the entire field (I sat in ZZ and CC for my two games, so never sat in the lower level) but... I am not sure. I always hear there is not a bad spot in Neyland so whatever the view is.. we don't care. We plan on being on our feet for 3 hours yelling as loud as we can! Any input on the seats being too low?
We are both hoping that her first game will also be Butch's signature win and we can say we were both there for it!
GO VOLS!
