Allright friends. I knew I could count on my buddies in VN to give me feedback. I have hopefully established a reputation for not being an idiot in here so I thought before I turn these in to my local "Pick Em'" club, I'd run it by some smart football fans that would provide me with feedback. I know some of these might be strange, but I think I've done my homework so with that said, instead of pounding me into the dirt, if you disagree, let me know why. I'm submitting this now becasue they are not due untill Friday. I figured a few days would be enough to determine personally if I'd made the right choice. With that said, thank you VN for being a source for level headed conversation and advice. This is truly a great place to hang out. My selections are:

UTAH
MEMPHIS
CINCY
NEW MEXICO
BYU
BOISE ST.
PURDUE
AZ ST.
BC
HOUSTON
OREGON ST.
UCONN
UCF
ATM- Im a homer on this one
BAMA
AIR FORCE
FRESNO ST.
USF
KENTUCKY
OKIE ST.
AUBURN
VOLS- easy pick
MIZZOU
TECH
gators-I hate it but......
USC
UGLY-through some convincing.
OK
KANSAS
RUTGERS
A-SLUT, I mean Tulsa
and L les U

If you dont agree let me know constuctively please. I'll check out the feedback in the morning. Thanks for all your help VN, and by then way MODS, I realize you might have to merge this, but I wanted to get as much feedback as I could so, could you cut an Aggie some slack for just a few days......please?

rock on Rocky Top and gig em' Ags!

I remind you that if I offended your personal selections I did not do so on purpose. If you have a rebuttle, I'll gladly hear you out. Im an the optiome of open minded conversation except when it comes to Vols v. Wisc. That might be my safest pick on here. :)

]Kansas has no chance against VT. [/FONT]In fact, VT and BYU are my biggest plays ever.

I wouldn't be too sure about that. Kansas is a little slow on defense but they are physical and will hit you in the mouth and that's just the type of game VT doesn't like. If the game gets really physical VT will have 60 to 100yds in personal foul and unsportsmanlike conduct penalties. I like Kansas's chances in this one, they may not win but I believe they keep it close.

VT held their opponents to an average of 14- all year, but that was the ACC. The last time they faced someone outside the ACC that had any kind of duel threat offence was LSU. They were promptly slaughtered by them and their D gave up 48 while their offence only managed to score once. Ressing has a 62% completion rate, 32 td and only 6 picks. If the VT stops the run, passing is an option for Kansas. Kansas is too balanced and wont allow many points to a VT team that won games by scoring in the 30's or less against the few good teams they faced. Too much offence for Kansas, not enough for VT.

UCF is a pretty good team, and I've had the chance to see them a few times being a grad student down here. That being said, if Croom manages to eliminate their running attack UCF is done. Their running back has benefited from weak Conference-USA competition all season long. I don't know if Mississippi State can beat them or not, but it would not shock me at all if they do.

WV is a two man show, with a one routine bit. Stop the run game. Oklahoma is too big.

WVU vs Oklahoma looks to be a toss-up.

WVU's speed is going to be tough for Oklahoma to contain. But Oklahoma doesn't want to lose another BCS game.

I'll take a heavy dose of Allen Patrick with a few Bradford TD's. Boomer Sooner baby. But it will be close

Kansas will get taken to the woodshed by VT.

People said this same crap about Kansas before the Border War. I told everybody and their momma that Missouri would wear them out, and they did.

VT is the absolute, without a doubt, you honestly can't argue it, best defense Kansas has faced all year. ALL YEAR.

And VT is more physical than Kansas. And faster. And better coached. And they have Tyrod Taylor back.

Remember, all of Kansas's stats were put up against the worst SOS of any BCS school, and a joke of a slate of defenses. Seriously, check out the defensive rankings for the teams they faced. It's sickening.

No love for Aquib Talib?

wow, yall are really on board with VT. That surprises me I guess because of them kinda being a media darling this year, and them really not playing in a tough confrence. I'll consider making a change there as this progresses.

Anyone really think my Aggies have a shot at Jo Pa, or is 500 on its way to the record book?

Aqib Talib is a stud. But he was on the field in the Missouri, Nebraska, and other games where they gave up 30+. VT has their best offense in a while, and they'll need about 28 points to win. Kansas, IMO, will be lucky to hit 24.

You talk about VT not playing in a tough conference, but their schedule was infinitely better than Kansas's. Remember, Kansas didn't face Texas Tech, Texas, or Oklahoma, aka the top 3 in the South. It's not about what conference you play in, it's about what schedule you played.

I agree 100%.

VT is without a doubt the best D Kansas will have seen all year.

Kansas = Wake Forest

Kansas has no business in a BCS game and the result will prove it.

I like WVU / OU as the best matchup in whole deal and like OU to win a very interesting football game.

Agree 100%. I don't think that VT is the end-all Defense, but I think they'll give Kansas all they can handle.

My only worry in this game is the letdown. VT enjoyed their outside shot at the NT, but didn't get it. Kansas is just excited to be in a BCS bowl.
