My dilemma

Burn issues are not as big an issue but you would not want to leave your game on pause and forget for hours. They have screen savers now if you walk away but not sure it works with a video game on pause. I would still pay the extra couple hundred to get the warranty for peace of mind if you went that way. I have not had a burn but nor do I worry about it.

So you dont have a HDTV but youre considering getting a PS3 for the bluray..... why? To play bluray movies on standard def? Am I missing something? Thats like buying a SSC Ultimate Aero for your daily commute. Just doesnt make much sense to me.

On a side note....if you get an LCD, make sure you get a 240 hz one and you wont have the motion blur problem youve heard about. (at least not a noticable one imo)
