MVP seats

So, anyone have any idea what you have to have donated in the past to UT to be able to buy season tickets? It sounds like people are saying that even though there are "donations" listed as well as ticket prices, that the said donation may not get you tickets.

I haven't given to the Tennessee Fund. I have always given to the College of A&S (specifically to an endowment for a scholarship I received at UT.) I suspect the AD wouldn't care that I gave any of that. If I could get it for some tickets next year at some of the lower donation levels listed, I might consider that. What I can't do is drop a thousand bucks on a lottery ticket for a chance at tickets.

Anyone have any idea where the AD stands on this?
By the way, that’s great of you to give back to the endowment you benefited from.

I was told before 2024 by an honest person that the point total to get tickets then was roughly the equivalent of $90,000 in prior donations on top of the donations required to buy the tickets yearly.

As baseball never required donations, this means only those longtime football and some basketball donors had any chance at seats that were not grandfathered to present baseball season ticket holders.

This is next year's tickets as mentioned in the email:

Is the pricing on the 4Topp like it is for the porch: including all the seats in the space, so four? If so then it's priced the same per seat as the upper level chairback seats below the suites and club. So basically you're out in left field, but you get a table.

Correct. $4k for all 4 seats. But good luck figuring out how or if they're even available. I put a donation down as a season ticket holder 3 or so years back and never even got a sniff of one. (Which worked out fine for me, given what their sightlines are and where I wound up.)

I’d call before putting any money down. Season ticket holders near us wanted to move to MVP (two seats) but I was told they couldn’t because they weren’t available. But, I do know some new MVP season ticket holders, so maybe this second couple I know coughed up some dough.

Tell them to keep in touch with their rep. Last I heard there were 24-30ish tickets that were either MVP level or in seats being converted to MVP that had requested to move so there may be a chance to move.

Also, unless something has changed, I thought I heard next year food/drinks would *not* be included in MVP seats and they'd switch to that 'upgraded concessions' model the premium places in Neyland use. I can't say for sure on that one though.

100%. MVP will not include food during 2026 season. Thanks Danny!
