I may be wrong but bowl game payouts doesn't go to the schools it goes to the sec office to be distributed to all the schools right?...may be wrong but thought that's what volquest said

Really? Your post makes zero sense and mine was clearly relevant to this season. We lost 2 bad games this year. Who was it that got passed over for the playoffs a year or so ago because of one bad loss to Iowa St or somebody. The losses are relevant.....this year.

My prediction which isnt worth anything is that KY is in the MCB simply because they were in the Gator last year. Supposedly they dont send you to the "minor" bowls two years in a row. That puts us probably in FL somewhere. I would like to see it but watching from the LazyBoy ain't bad either.

In their podcast on Saturday evening, the Volquest guys indicated that the Gator was targeting Tennessee. They did say that we had a good shot at the Outback until Alabama got beat. It would take an upset in the SEC title game for us to get to the Outback now.

I think we deserve a warm Florida bowl in Jacksonville or Tampa. The team and the fans deserve to see someplace other than Memphis or Nashville. The coldest, wettest most miserable I have been in a football stadium is in Memphis and Nashville. If we play in a real bowl game, we will be the underdog regardless of the opponent, so who cares as long it is from a real football conference? Enjoy what should be sunny, warm weather and some decent seafood. Just don't spend money in Gainesville! GO VOLS!

While not impossible, getting an Outback Bowl bid is not very likely.

The last time a 7 win team was invited to play in that bowl game was way back in 2011. Since then, the Outback Bowl hasn't had any team that hasn't had a minimum of 8 wins.

They have no choice. There will be no 8 win SEC teams available
