ND would draw more fans to the MCB than Louisville -- Louisville is # 1 in basketball right now so basically they dont give a crap about football anymore, this year

We are pretty much at the mercy of the SEC offices and the bowls on which bowl we get. Not really much of a point in worrying about it too much .

Better to be talking about this than a coaching change like Arkansas Missouri and Ole Miss though.

POOL OF SIX BOWLS: After the Citrus Bowl selects a team, there will be a pool of six bowls and the Conference, in consultation with the institutions and the bowls, will make the assignments for these six bowl games from all eligible SEC teams.

I think it’s pretty simple. If Florida makes a New Year’s six bowl, we are in Tampa. If not, we are in Jacksonville.

I can think of many good reasons, logically why we would want to play in MCB. Conversely, i can think of more logically sound reasons to play in Florida.

I'd rather not do the MCB for all the reasons people have been mentioning.....cold, close to home, want a "destination." Give me the Outback or Gator please, and let's kick some Big 10 butt!

How quickly the sense of entitlement kicks in around here. 8 weeks ago we were the only P5 school that didn't have a win against an FBS school. Now we're too good for the Music City Bowl. Having said that, MCB would suck :)
Not entitlement to me. MCB is not entitled to my presence when I have a warm fireplace and a big screen to watch the game. Now Florida bowl, that is another matter. I have loved siting in my short sleeves watching the Vols thrash a big 10 opponent.

I would most likely go to Nashville or Jacksonville but not Tampa. I've been to the MCB twice; we won one then lost it, and then won the 2nd time I was there.

If we all take our bias and envy of Nashville out of the equation and consider that you all will be sitting in traffic for days. Maybe we should go south to Florida. Nashville gets more than 15 million visitors a year and they know how to party, that’s why visiting NFL teams Pay ridiculous prices for tickets and the locals pocket the cash. My personal preference is the outback in Tampa simply because of the weather however if you find yourself in Nashville you will have a blast.
