Mueller Report Imminent

I think Trump will somehow continue to give SNL loads of weekly material?
It's amusing to hear the "lock her up" crowd whine about the "lock him up" crowd.
Of course he will... This is a guy tweeting insults at a dead person (McCain) and whining about not getting a "Thank you" for approving military honors for his service. As long as Trump is this petty, we will have ample material. We don't need "Russian collusion" to not like the guy.

This reminded me that LG already titled a TrumPutingate installment thread with “beginning of the end”.

@lawgator1 - where would you say we are now with respect to “the end”?
Even though you didn't ask me, I know how you value my opinion.
I can't really answer your question until the results are made public.

Your opinion on even the weather is about as desirable as a bad case of the crabs. And you’d find a way to deny, deflect, and obfuscate on even the weather.

The thread was titled and made before seeing a report.

I’m fairly confident you were on board with it then. At a minimum, I don’t remember you voicing any protests.

But now it’s wait and see? Thanks for weighing in, Luth. I will always give you an A for participation.

It was very refreshing and uplifting, 8 fantastic years in my life. I
Feel bad for you that he is no longer there for you. You could move to Chicago, he had a lot of hope projects there and most remain unfinished... but if you go, up size your fire arm.

SNL doesn't hide their liberal politics. I liked it much more when they focused on actual comedy. Nowadays, they focus so much on politics it just isn't funny anymore. It's almost like liberal propaganda(which explains why you enjoy it). The greatest skits the show has ever produced had nothing to do with politics. They need to go back to that format. It's a shame they've gone so downhill because our country could use a good laugh.

Luther, I don't think it's Trump you object to. I think you would have responded the way you have to any Republican that won. You would have found something, anything, to label them the anti-Christ. Luckily for you, Trump makes it easy. He really is a despicable person. Still not an impeachable offense though.

MSNBC’s Nance: Trump-Russia Collusion ‘Could Technically Eclipse Benedict Arnold’

Saturday on a special afternoon edition of MSNBC’s “AM Joy,” MSNBC contributor Malcolm Nance did not appear swayed by the lack of indictments to come from Department of Justice special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe, which concluded on Friday with the submission of this report to Attorney General William Barr.

Nance insisted impeachment of President Donald Trump was inevitable because he still believed Trump was an agent of a foreign government.

It hasn’t been funny in 20 years. Or maybe my sense of humor changed.

I’d rather watch Knitting Hour With the Weinberg Sisters than SNL.

Russian protesters rally against Kremlin policies

Moscow (AFP) – Several thousand supporters of Russia’s Communist Party rallied in Moscow against government policies, with some attacking President Vladimir Putin who they said was personally responsible for entrenched corruption and rising prices.

The Communists had called on Russians to take to the streets across the country to protest the latest raft of repressive laws and falling living standards.

The Moscow rally featured both young and elderly protesters and was led by veteran Communist leader Gennady Zyuganov, 74.

Similar protests took place in other cities across the country.

“I looked at Putin’s historical rule and realised that he has not done anything good for the country over the past 20 years,” said one of the Moscow protesters, Sergei Tereshin, blaming Putin for corruption and rising poverty.

Beto O’Rourke: If Mueller Report Is Held, America May Not See 244th Year

Democrat 2020 candidate Robert “Beto” O’Rourke warned from the campaign trail in South Carolina Friday night there may not be another year of America if the Mueller report is not made public.

“Republicans and Democrats should do whatever they can to make sure their constituents, the American people, can read that report, form their own judgement, make their own decisions, and that the truth comes out,” O’Rourke said at a campaign stop in South Carolina Friday.

O’Rourke warned that America may not see another year if details of Russian interference in the 2016 election included in the Mueller report are not made public, saying, “This is an unprecedented attack on this country and on our democracy, and we are owed the facts. And if we do not receive them, 243 years in, there’s nothing that guarantees us a 244th.”

Luth has 6 more years to dial in his bs... hope he can step it up some.

The difference between Trump and other Presidents is Trump hasn't had a lifetime of political training in how to hide how despicable he is. It's not that he's more despicable, it's just that you see it.

I honestly don't understand how Dems think pushing this kind of narrative helps their chances. It smacks of desperation and is just unattractive in a candidate, IMO.

Hard to answer that in a vacuum. Literally the only thing we know is that Mueller plans no indictments. That is being spun by the right as meaning no collusion or obstruction, but that is not necessarily so because by regulation Mueller would not have indicted Trump.

Until we have a better idea of its contents it's just to soon to say.

During the republican primaries, Trump was the one I considered to be the biggest joke and the worst of all the candidates. I was shocked when he one the nomination but found it hysterical because I could not fathom even the possibility of him winning the general. It was like they handed the presidency to Hillary on a silver platter. What shocked America then and still does today is that we live in a country that actually elected Trump. In all honesty, it had next to nothing to do with Hillary losing but everything to do with Trump winning. The Trumpers have no choice but to deny that fact, but it is the truth.

I think that is a bit of a misrepresentation of what he is saying. Seems like he is saying that if we don't expose corruption and Russian interference to coopt our election then we are pretty far gone at this point.

Still, the lack of indictments against Jr. or Kushner suggests Trump is most likely in the clear, don't you think?
