That may be, but those 2023 and 2024 defenses were not competing against Tennessee passing offenses that executed as well as Tennessee's 2022 passing offense.

We rushed for almost 3000 yards last season. So you're expecting to average 300 yards passing in the SEC while also averaging the 220ish yards rushing that Tennessee does every game. So the EXPECTATION for you is for Tennessee to have one of the best offenses in the modern era with a new qb, four new offensive linemen, new RB, 2 new starting WR? Do you guys not see that YOU are reason why you are always disappointed with the team?

I wonder how they would react if the same thing happened in their workplace. Fair but expecting us to get back to 2022 numbers is a little presumptuous. If the defenses woild have played the 2022 team like they have played us the last two years do you really think we still have the same numbers? Not likely.
