Let me rephrase that, 3000 yards against P4 opponents. So that gives us at least 10 games to get to that. With Vandy and Kentucky on our schedule plus Mississippi State that should be do able. The point is 2022 can’t look like a fluke like it currently does
This post shows you obviously do not listen to people who actually know football. 2022 wasn’t a fluke. You do know teams have DCs that get paid millions of dollars right? Well guess what? They saw two years of tape and completely changed the way they defend us. Besides we are more of a running team anyway.Let me rephrase that, 3000 yards against P4 opponents. That may be, but those 2023 and 2024 defenses were not competing against Tennessee passing offenses that executed as well as Tennessee's 2022 passing offense. This post shows you obviously do not listen to people who actually know football. 2022 wasn’t a fluke. We rushed for almost 3000 yards last season. So you're expecting to average 300 yards passing in the SEC while also averaging the 220ish yards rushing that Tennessee does every game. So the EXPECTATION for you is for Tennessee to have one of the best offenses in the modern era with a new qb, four new offensive linemen, new RB, 2 new starting WR? Do you guys not see that YOU are reason why you are always disappointed with the team?Let me rephrase that, 3000 yards against P4 opponents. So that gives us at least 10 games to get to that. I wonder how they would react if the same thing happened in their workplace. We just hired a new young guy for a job that is below you but he was a hot commodity so we decided to pay him double what you make even though you have been here 10 years and are in supervisory job. You won't have an issue showing him the ropes the first couple weeks? Cool, thanks for being such a team player. It’s my favorite thing I read when we lose our on a guy. Just give it all that money to another guy who also plays a different position without any regard for what other comparable guys in the class or currently on the roster are being paid
Similar to the elite teams - Bama, Ohio St, UGA, Clemson, LSU.It’s great to be in the greedy place and not the needy place.
Fair but expecting us to get back to 2022 numbers is a little presumptuous. If the defenses woild have played the 2022 team like they have played us the last two years do you really think we still have the same numbers? Not likely. That may be, but those 2023 and 2024 defenses were not competing against Tennessee passing offenses that executed as well as Tennessee's 2022 passing offense.
Cool story bro. Not sure what this has to do with KeysLet me rephrase that, 3000 yards against P4 opponents. So that gives us at least 10 games to get to that. Gotcha - that is total horse hockey (can I say that)![]()
LSU ups ante?
Can anyone confirm? I have no idea who this dude is, I get every Vol creator in my alg from watching AP, Cainer and the boys.
He quoted LSU’s On3 writer I believe regarding the increased offer. That in itself doesn’t mean much, and I think there’s a reason AP and them have been saying they’d take the field over LSU here, maybe a fractured relationship. Hopefully. LSU is a pretty attractive place for WRs rn. But I think the staff has approached these last two big targets with the funds to compete, like with Sanders. If it’s not coming from 247 or On3, ignore it. This guy is just the same as the hundreds of other college football yahoos with a headset and a laptop trying to make themselves an insider/reporter.
