Apples vs oranges. There’s far more good baseball pitchers than there are good college QBs. There’s far more good bb position players than there are SEC fb players.

UGA does out-talent the Vols, including last year.

They had 13 draft picks this last draft with 3 first rounders lol. 8 the year before with 2 first rounders.

Last year Vols had 4 draft picks with one first rounder and the year before 3 draft picks total.

Really just need the right group of players. The ‘22 offense could’ve won a NC if the defense had a pulse. Plug the right players in - regardless of their recruiting ranking - and can beat UGA. Hell Ole Miss beat them last year

This has been the MO for months in this one, and at this point, there is no clear timeline for when a final decision could be made.

They have. Since they took over the blue chip ratio is dramatically improved. I believe we are now 50%+

So, again, what you're saying is we need to recruit better. Recruiting better doesn't necessarily mean following the stars. It means getting players that can contribute significantly on the field, regardless of their star rankings. We need guys who can learn the schemes quickly and get on the field to actually play rather than rides the bench for 2-3 years. It's okay to admit that. Hell, coaches would probably agree with that assessment.

By all means lay out the realistic plan to get to a top 5 recruiting class. Especially still with our restrictions. I would love to hear it.

Be careful stating facts. Some will say you have BVS.

We may beat UGA every now and then (last win was 2016) but not consistently until we close the talent gap.
