Spoiler that please.Weapons is full on weird. Not gonna be an easy explanation or review .... not even sure how I feel about it.
The antagonist is a crazy voodoo aunt/lady and it unfolds in character chapters that overlap each other. Leaves a lot unexplained.

They lost me way back at Alien 3 (1992).Alien Romulus was really good.
Alien has become clearly one of the greatest movie franchises. Outside of a few bad Predator crossover movies, their batting average/slugging % are like Barry Bonds numbers.

However, I consider Aliens (1986), to be the best sci-fi/horror sequel ever made. The transition from Ridley Scott to James Cameron was seamless. The first two movies were incredibly well-made and had great casts.
