Most telling thing I’ve seen

We have got to just go with Maurer. Got to. Or JJ.
You realize that JJ looked so bad at qb that he only lasted through spring practice at the position? He is a good football player, but saying he should be our qb is simply ignorant.

I was at the USCjr game in Columbia a few years back. The one where Herd checked out. I kept commenting to my brother how it wasn't a good look that he was physically distancing himself from the team. Literally on the opposite end of the bench by himself. Obviously I'm not privy to the locker room dynamic, but his position is typically associated with leadership. If his teammates are looking to someone else for that leadership, it's telling.

Hmmm. Neither of those really look close to JG but idk
His uniform is too clean.

Seriously, here is a hypothetical... The "official" story is that JG, the team, and Maurer weren't told of the substitution until back on the field after half. I would wager to bet the each QB was told, maybe not in the presence of the team, but informed in the locker room. To stretch this hypothetical just a tad farther- I can see Maurer leaking it to JJ and Calaway on the way out of the tunnel. Not saying that's what happened, but it would explain both JG and Maurer's body language.

I don't even see JG in this video, is he in the back or something?
He was already sitting on the bench minding his own business. You know, like he usually does. I don’t see this as a shock, he’s always looked disconnected from the team.

The whole team is flat. No excuse for
That. I’ve seen more excitement coming from pall bearers at a funeral.

If that’s an example of ‘the vets and leaders embracing’ anything, the problem is bigger than the qb position. That was less energy than a middle school team. No coach up front getting these guys hyped? There was talk of players and coaches quitting during the game, but now I don’t think anyone even got off the bus.
I’ve seen guys get more hyped for cornhole on ESPN than this. Where is the passion or the fire? I’m going back over to the basketball forum, and staying there for a while. Football just depresses me now!
GBO!!

Yes.

If that clip was before kickoff, UF’s band would be on the field.

Our band is clearly sitting in the NE corner.

The thread title is incorrect...that video was taken as halftime ended.
Ok, so we are completely lifeless coming out for the 2nd half.
GBO!!
