Most Satisfying Win 2019

Week by week, each win was satisfying because each win continued to build our resume. MSt was big because it got us started with SEC wins, though an ugly game. USC was big because it kept momentum going and broke the Muschamp win streak. Kentucky was big because it kept us moving towards bowl eligibility. Miz and Vandy were big because they'd both had their way with us recently, and Miz made us bowl eligible... I felt like we'd beat Vandy because they were just bad, so I'm going with USC and MIZ as a tie for most satisfying because they'd beaten us too much recently... probably USC as top one because I can't stand them, and at the end of the day, I STILL don't consider MIZ as SEC traditional rival.

This. It's hard to pick one win because every week we were "underdogs" and disrespected and just continued to squash the media expectations. For most satisfying at the time, I'd have to go with Miss St because it was the least expected, despite us playing well against UGA. In hindsight, probably SC, but they're all about equal to me.

I hate musCHUMP so it has to be USCe.

I also loved beating CDD at Misery.

Season started depressing but ended up pretty nice and we're on a upward move so things are looking brighter every year since AD PF hired HC Pruitt.

Onwards and upwards we go even if it's slower than most of us want.

VFL...GBO!!!

USCe because I live in West Columbia. I get tired of hearing them run their dang mouths around here! Theyve accomplished nothing in football and think they are a football school. Plus I really dislike Mushcamp.

They've accomplished more than us in the past ten years

South Carolina. Not only beating Muschamp, but beating the dog piss out of him was very gratifying. Felt good to finally shake the Vandy off our backs, would’ve preferred to have just beaten the brakes off of them like we did to USC though.

I have to say it was SC. Great to wipe the smile from Muschump face and watch him walk out a loser.

That doesnt make them a football school. Theyve had 4 or 5 really good seasons in the past 10 years. Won the SEC East one time, So that makes about 6 or 7 good seasons in their football lifetime. We have had one of our worst football decades and they still cant beat us on a regular basis. They have improved but not to the point where they think they shoud beat UT as a given! WGWTFA!

What was the most satisfying win for you in 2019 and why?

For me it was the Vandy win. I sat in Vandy stadium in 2018 and watched the Vandy faithful dancing in the isles as they were laying the beatdown on my Vols in the 4th quarter. That game was a low point for me (lowest until GA ST) and I hoped that Pruitt and staff would get it turned around in 2019. Well we all know how 2019 turned out. At 1-4 I was terribly worried about our Vols but they turned it around and made me proud to be a Vol fan. The Vandy win in 2019 was one more marker that we will once again be a power in the conference. Yes the USC jr, Mizzou, KY and Miss St wins were good, but never in the recent history of the Vandy/UT series had we lost so many games to them as we had in the last 5 years (prior to 2019).

In 2020 we may wind up being third in the SEC east again but that is a far cry from where we have been in the last 10 years. At least some respect and maybe some fear will be seen in the eyes of the opponent in 2020 and beyond.

Edit: Second for me was Mizzou because they have owned the series since entering the SEC. Third was USC jr because Muschimp is a jerk.

Go Vols!
South Carolina because of dominance of the game, margin of victory, and best display of downfield passing. Felt like offense was really clicking for once. Unfortunately, never had that feeling again.

I didn't say anything about them being a better program. They have been better than us in the last ten years.

South Carolina because it was complete dominance. We scored in all 3 phases of the game and got the Muschamp monkey off our back. Plus it was just a fun game to watch because we looked well coached all over the field.

I agree. Hearing about it got old too.

Vandy was satisfying too, but I had convinced myself that there was no way Pruitt was going to lose to them again, so SC was more.

Those are the two games I attended (usc-jr and candy). Weather-wise cooking the fried chicken was awesome.

The television folks asked us to keep it entertaining..........

By chance, are you the negative clown who sat next to me and left with 10 minutes remaining on the clock?

Doubt he's ever been to a game .

How can you possibly claim we were "disrespected?" That's ridiculous.
