just that it went so smoothly. It speaks to the relationship Butch and the coaching staff has established with these kids. Was there one defection on signing day? It is a great class! The addition of DR was incredible! Now, let's get behind these young men, and get ready for Bowling Green! Anybody got tickets!!!! GBO
Last year, I was really happy to get a top 5 class and was stunned to go a whole signing day on VN without a single thread arguing that star ratings don't matter (thank you Butch!).
This year, I am so very pleased with this class, but I think the most impressive thing about today is how smoothly it went for such a highly ranked class.
I mean, we got a top 10 (possibly top 5 class) all signed up by around noon ET on signing day. Have we ever had it go so smoothly with such a top notch class? If so, I don't recall it.
What has impressed you the most about this signing day/class?
:clapping:THIS is (partly) why we "sunshine pumpers" (a term intended to be pejorative but a label I am proud to carry) love CBJ and his staff. What these guys are doing is unprecedented and yes that includes the Fulmer years, especially considering the half-decade or so dump that had been taken on the program prior to their arrival.
I still have questions about development, gameday decision making, and why he decides to button that top button, but sweet baby Jesus can he recruit.

We didn't lose anyone in Dooley's second class (IIRC), but it was a class with more lower ranked recruits.
Richmond and landing a top 5 class is highly impressive given the state of the program the past 7 years.
I was glad to see the OC situation didn't have any impact on Sheriron Jones either. It would have stood to reason he might have looked around and signed somewhere else.
Quick question, considering the size of this class and last years how many can we expect to sign in 2016?

The players we signed at difference makers are certain positions than causes major issues for our opposing teams .
1 edge rushers with great speed
2. Burners in the back end
3. 1-2 punch at RB, both 5 stats
4. Speed and size issues at WR
5. Massive disruptive DT's that will require double teams
