Most Hated Teams Outside The SEC?

It's very simple for someone my age - Notre Dame; for decades they were awarded a status above every other football team - like the nation's team or some such crap. Of course, closely followed by the big 10, TX, and a few west coast teams like USC. I always hated when the top 10 teams were published in the Tues or Wed newspaper and saw the list dominated by ND and those other teams because the news was dominated by media in the northeast. TX ranks high especially because of the interlocked UT logo debacle and their inability to recognize the real UT - the one that was around before Texas was even a state.

Would it be fitting to see the team that lost (and a fact that no one will allow to be forgotten) to Ga St demolish a big10 team in a bowl? Oh, yeah.

Notre Dame, Michigan, Ohio State, USC, Florida St....will always pull for whoever they are playing. If they play each other..will watch Food Network.

Northern teams ..terrible uniforms, terrible weather, terrible bands, boring play.

I would exclude Wisconsin from that. They are one northern team to do like to watch from time to time and typically root for them. I like that Wisconsin knows who they are and what they want to do. They like to play solid defense, they like a big offensive line who can pass block and run block. They like to run the ball out of the I formation to set up their passing game. They are old school traditional football, not gimmicky like many of the offenses we see today. It all goes back to Barry Alverez who reminds me very much of Phillip Fulmer.

Notre Dame, Ohio State, Michigan, Penn State, USC, Miami, Maryland for their ridiculous uniforms, Oregon, Rutgers, and UCLA. Pretty much in that order. And if any one of them plays the other, I find something else to watch and hope the stadium collapses.

Edit: Oh, and for the Lady Vols, I hate UConn too.

Virginia has to be near the top. When the Vols played UVA in the Sugar Bowl ('91), at halftime, their band mocked Tennessee with a condescending hillbilly theme, even making fun of Elvis. It was very disrespectful. I've despised those condescending arrogant classless ba$tards ever since. UVA had been ranked as high as #1 after winning their first 7 games. Vols triumphed, rallying from a 16-0 halftime deficit with a 23-22 victory. Andy Kelly was MVP.

P.S. - Derek Dooley was a WR for that UVA team. So, another reason to despise that bunch of miscreants.

Tony Thompson over the top in the Superdome. One of John Ward's great calls. I hear J.J. McKlesky is still pissed about the roughing the punter call when he was pushed into the kicker by a UVA player.

Tennessee fans all dislike Bama, Georgia, Vanderbilt and the Gators...
but which teams outside the SEC do you hate the most?
FIFY

1) Notre Dame
2) USC, UCLA
3) OSU, MI
4) All other PAC 12 teams

Edit: Forgot Miami and FSU. Both fall in at #3.

After receiving my MS in Engineering from UT in 1975, I moved to VA. It was virtually impossible to even find the UT games on the radio - just one pathetic losing VA team after another as you turned the dial, so I learned early on to despise VA teams ... all of them. The other unspeakable offense ... during the car inspection, they scraped my UT decal off the rear window. It didn't block anyone's vision because I had a hatchback and you couldn't even see the lower part of the window over the rear seats. VA is a beautiful state dominated by bureaucratic NOVA idiots who don't identify with the south or southern values.

I can't tolerate the child rape enabling Penn state Nittany lions. No way they should still have a football program.

Memphis, they're like another Vandy
While I don’t “hate” any team (at least I don’t think I do 🤔) Memphis just isn’t on my radar. I probably shouldn’t view it this way but I see them as an afterthought. I have close friends who played there and coached there too. My daughter actually worked for women’s coach Joy Lee McNelis administratively ( who I loved and respected) and she knew I was all Vol. But I guess I just don’t take them that seriously.
