Most Hated Opposing Coaches

What's he a hypocrite about? I'm not doubting. I've just never heard anything like that.

He's quick to play the religion card and then have several players arrested. You make a sales pitch to recruits about being in a great environment, you better not have multiple arrests every off season.

However, I hope he stays at UGA a long time

My hate for meyer and saban can't possibly be magnified anymore. It's beyond comprehension to a higher power, if that's possible.

It's great to be hated once again!:)

I first opened this thread and saw Shula on the list...WTF?...we had rivals actually hate Shula? Then saw the date of the thread.:eek:k:

WTF is this, opposing fan troll day? I've seen a Memphis fan, a Bama fan and there are always Gator fans on here...and it's not even noon yet

Undoubtedly, I hate Spurrier the most of any coach ever. Having to deal with his smart ass attitude and success against us on the field at Florida sucked. It doesn't help that I live 10 minutes from Johnson City where he is originally from.

Who are the five opposing coaches you detest/detested the most? For now, let's limit it to football.

Urban Meyer. That's it. He's such a phony.

I like Spurrier. He's funny. I respect his cockiness and what it does for a program.

Saban- probably hell to work for, but I respect his style of play and what he does.

But Urban Meyer is such a phony, sanctimonious, holier than thou jerk who acts like he's better than everyone else and think there are different rules for him and his team. He attacks reporters who quote his own players in criticizing Tebow as if they've done something wrong...but does nothing in 4 years to actually help Tebow prepare for the NFL. Instead of jumping down reporters' throats, if he really cared as much about Tebow as he pretends to, he would have helped fix his throwing motion and he wouldn't play the kid with a concussion. He a liar and a fake. Can't stand him.

The only one I truely can't stand is Lou Holtz and that has grown exponentially since he's moved to ESPN.

1) Mack brown
2) urban meyer
3) rich rodriguez
4) mike Sherman
5) anyone with the last name Kelly

Did I miss something? Why all the hate for Mack Brown? I dislike Watson MUCH more than his successful sibling.

1. Urban Meyer (there is a spot in hell reserved for Urban Meyer. of this much I am certain.)
____ (huge dropoff) ________
2. Mack Brown: he gets paid obscene amounts of money so that the football team can succeed in spite of him. That always bothered me.
3. Bobby Bowden: see #2
4. Charlie Weis: I don't like fat people. Weis is fat. And Weis is a person. Thus, I dislike him. Plus, I dislike ND football on matters of general principle.
5. I'll go Frank Beamer b/c I hate Va. Tech with their hideous uniforms and their fanbase that refuses to acknowledge the undeniable fact that Blacksburg VA is simply a university placed on top of miles and miles of cow pastures.

-Richt is too mediocre to hate. I almost kinda feel sorry for him.
-Miles is too dumb to hate. I actually think he might be mentally retarded.
-Tuberville is similar to Meyer in that neither coach has anything that could be loosely analogized to a chin. But, unlike Meyer, I don't think about Tuberville and start imagining a scene with him walking across a street I'm driving on -- with no witnesses in sight -- and wondering whether I would apply the brakes at all.
-And I always kinda liked Spurrier.

Based on #2 and #4, I don't know how Fulmer isn't atop your list... even above Meyer.

Yes, we should all certainly hate a guy that won a national championship.

No, really. Your pick makes tons of sense. :ermm:

The guy was a god until 2002.

He's also the guy that ran the program into the ground and repeatedly failed against top tier SEC coaches. So...

We all still have a bad after-Fulmer taste in our mouth. Time will be kind to Fulmer. 20 years from now most people will only remember him holding up the crystal football. I did say MOST people.
