Most Hated Opposing Coaches

Houston Nutt.

He's just so annoying. I remember him crying when Arkansas beat us in '99. To make matters worse, he reminds me of this guy I used to work with that was equally obnoxious. Ugh.

I can't really hate on guys who beat us just because they beat us. Heck, I wanted Spurrier as our coach here over Fulmer. I don't like Meyer, but by the same token I can't really hate him. I respect what he's done, which is more than any coach we've ever had.

If you think you hate him now.....just wait til you see what the future holds......Can you hear me now?......good. USC....dangerous to you this year.....they look very good this year especially on defense. And you know that Spurrier will have the offense he wants.....Good defense means more offense.....uh oh.

Don't worry. You just keep posting the same homeristic BS every year, and sooner or later you're bound to be right!

... Maybe.

1. Lane Kiffin
2. Phil Fulmer (not opposing coach necessarily but whatever he'd been doing the past 10 years was in direct opposition to the Vols' best interests so take your 6 million clams and your pink slip and hit the bricks.)

I didn't like Meyer when he was at Utah. I hate him now, not so much because he's a great coach that hasn't lost to Tennessee but because he's a whiny ass that quit over health reasons then magically got healthy over a 4 week span.

When he threw his temper tantrum over a sports writer really clinched it for me.

Go Calhoun or Price on a reporter. Don't call them a "bad person".

Spurrier is one of my favorite coaches ever. I'll just go ahead and say it. I understand people being frustrated with him and Florida during the 90's, but they really need to be upset with having a mediocre coach roaming our own sidelines.

Bill Walsh (SF 49ers and the Standford Cardinal) - Because he stated "The Vols just aren't in the same class as Notre Dame" on a nationally televised game that he was announcing. Of course, UT then came back to kick the **** out of the Irish. What a totally classless move for an analyst, though.

I had never heard that Vol423, thank you to help me focus my hate towards a deserving canidate. JKiffin, Spurrier and Meyer has the majority of it now but there is enough to go around.
