Hey, man. Sorry to hear that and genuinely hope it gets out of your life and things are better.Sorry. That was inappropriate.
I do care what you think.
Lots of **** in my life right now.
priorities, not sewer politics.Hey, man. Sorry to hear that and genuinely hope it gets out of your life and things are better.
Maybe this will brighten things a wee bit. Made my 14yo grandson sit down with me and watch the Holy Grail. He was kind of wondering what kind of crap I was making him watch until King Arthur and Patsy come over the ridge banging coconuts. He was hooked after that.

European officials on Tuesday moved to ease their ban on sales of cars with internal combustion engines by 2035, responding to pressure from governments and automakers who argued that the industry needed more flexibility in finding ways to reduce emissions of carbon dioxide and help achieve EU...autos.yahoo.com

Ford to scale back electric vehicle plans, taking $19.5bn hit - BBC News
The US carmaker is backing away from large electric vehicles, citing lacklustre demand and recent regulatory changes under US President Donald Trump.www.bbc.com
How many coal plants did China build last year?*I* don't need to refute a thing.
97% of published climate scientists agree that global warming - caused by man - is occurring.
It's as close to established scientific fact as you'll ever get... but you keep doing whatever it is you're doing.
Every climate prediction model has failed. Every gloom and doom prediction has failed. More information is showing there is very little we can do to affect the climate. Even if we could, we couldn’t stop developing countries. China built over 100 coal plants in the last 18 months. The US has literally set a target date to end coal sourced electricity. You could shut down all industry in the US today and it wouldn’t make a marked difference. Our attempts to reduce carbon emissions have increased the cost of living by an absurd amount.
It goes beyond that Marcus, CO2 in your lungs is actually what triggers the need to breathe. In many, many ways it has increased our cost of living. Several that aren't obvious. Trillions of dollars wasted and trillions more in lost productivity. All in the name of climate change and from garbage laws and standards via the EPA and similar boondoggles. Meanwhile none of it matters in the grand scheme of things because China alone pollutes more than the US and ALL of Western Europe COMBINED...and thats the case before the 100 new coal fired electric plants. There are landfills where they literally back dumptrucks up to cliffs and dump trash directly in the ocean. All day, every day forever. All the shrub hugger EPA bullcrap that kills our industry and economy...and us taxpayers financially...is statistically insignificant due to the MASSIVE CONSTANT pollution from China. Guess what? India isnt much better. Their 1.6BN people pollute almost as much as China.
Even with China and India pulluting like every year is the last one here on planet Earth...there is still next zero honest data to suggest that mankind has altered global temperatures or sea levels...at all. None. In fact, the real data shows that what we always concluded originally is correct: nature is cyclical. We have cold periods with Ice Ages and warmer periods between them. We are in the warmer part of that cycle now. What I find hilarious is that most of the grifters calling for doom and gloom try to use "greenhouse gases" as their evidence. Then name CO2 as the major culprit.
As if CO2 isnt absolutely necessary for the survival of every plant on Earth.
well surely, somewhere in that 97% of scientists someone surely addresses the mini Ice Age part. Since the science is "settled" I am sure they have addressed that fact, and many others. should be real easy for you to find based on all the volume. how are you going to appeal to an authority but not actually refer to what makes them an authority. surely you have seen something to back it up.*I* don't need to refute a thing.

depends on the track you are on. some do require some sort of publication as part of the requirements. there are other options, but I know several PhDs who had to get published to get said PhD.You may be thinking of tenure.
Excellent points. And the sad part is we openly do business with these countries with no penalty. If the tree huggers really cared they would be in China and India and lobbying for boycotts of goods from these countries. They don’t, because they are pawns. Climate change is all about power, control and $$.In many, many ways it has increased our cost of living. Several that aren't obvious. Yes. In who's interest is it to overregulate the North American and European economies with "climate" restrictions?Excellent points.
