More Climate BS...

"Greenland's contribution to sea level rise could be more than 2 feet within the century if the pace of warming continues."

Even if we stopped burning all fossil fuels now, the Greenland ice cap will continue melting at a rate causing 10.8 inches increase in ocean elevation by the end of this century.

Inevitable: Melting Greenland ice sheet will send seas nearly a foot higher, study finds

That'll prove to be another BS prediction that won't happen but few of us will be around to prove it. That's the nice thing about making really long range predictions. You can be wrong as hell but you won't be around long enough to be proven wrong

New technique shows old temperatures were much hotter than thought

Oh...who knew? Seems like global temps are cyclical....hot as Hades, then cold as a witches tit...and it has been both MUCH colder and MUCH warmer in the past than it is right now.

Freaking dirtbag grifters and snake oil salesmen.

Where are our nuclear plants again? Need a couple dozen of them stat....just for the electric cars you fools are pushing down everyones throat. Get to it....you damn shrub huggers.

It’s amazing that people still believe this stuff
Believe what? There’s no belief here. It is fact that the ice caps are melting. It’s also fact that it will cause oceans to rise. Regardless of whether or not you think it’s man-made or it’s a waste of money, there’s no arguing what’s going to happen,

Yes. What will happen is man will destroy man before nature will.

Sure it is…

I'm sure their results will get them enough grant money to stay well fed and on the lecture circuit. That said I've yet to see anyone produce a comprehensive analysis where all the factor come into play. Example, they always play with temperature rise, but in reality the things that melt Greenland's glaciers are temperatures above 32 degF and sunny days that can melt when the temperature is below 32 degF. As the temperature rises more water can be suspended in the air, etc....all that being said.... I've been to the same place on Treasure Island over the last 60 years and despite the "proof" our oceans have risen 6-8" over the last 50 to 100 years (take your pick) the motel is not any closer to the gulf than it was in my most distant memory...... so with that said, when I see water every day in the lobby of a building in Miami, New York, San Francisco, or San Diego, I'll believe we have rising Oceans.

I want to see the math.

The truth that the shrubhuggers fail to ever acknowledge is this:

Even IF the sea level worldwide does in fact raise 2 feet...and most of the polar ice caps melt etc etc...it is just the same cycle that the Earth has repeated forever...ice age....hot age....ice age....hot age. We are in the "hot" part of that cycle. No accredited scientist i have ever seen will deny that there is another ice age coming. Right on schedule like they always have. Making all this "the sky is falling!! Give me $Billions!!!" Crap a total farce. A shakedown that is being foisted on taxpayers like every other garbage government overreach.

One should be more worried about the 11 year cycle of coronal mass ejections from the Sun. We are coming into the worst part of that cycle...and the energy released from those hot spots is a serious danger to our satellites, communications, airplanes, etc etc. Pretty much anything computerized to include power grid facilities. That is fact that is hard to fathom...and an actual threat to our everyday lives. The climate change grift is all just unicorns, pink elephants, snake oil and income redistribution. Oldest play in the book. I hope the thieves pushing this BS on ignorant citizens get herpes head to toe.

Have you read 48 Hours by William Forstchen? It covers the subject pretty well, the sun could kill us off at anytime.

Let me get this straight. You don’t believe the ice caps are melting?

Not the point. The point is as late as the late 70s/early 80s we were being scared into believing another ice age was imminent. The “experts” were adamant. Ice caps may very well be experiencing some melt…now. We have no way of knowing if that will continue or if climate conditions change over time on their own that suspends that melt and/or we see another expansion of the ice caps.

Expert after expert predicted doom that was supposed to have happened before now. We simply don’t know how the climate will change going forward. And the science is not settled as to how much the climate changes wrt human activity. I’m a conservationist, avid outdoorsman, want to see the cleanest of oceans, rivers, lakes, mountains and air, but I don’t believe we solve this by cutting our economic legs out from under us with knee jerk reactionary policies. I’m fine with a market based, phased in move toward cleaner, cheaper energy (Nat gas, nuclear)…primarily from a national security perspective. But these out of left field, blunt force trauma policies coming from the left are not the answer.

Good that will offset the water needs of the Southwest, now they just have to figure out away for non-electric desalination. Win-win
