Yeah, he is stupid. He paid $900 and Paul Allen paid $600 for a computer operating system that eventually became Microsoft. Those two guys, along with some other smart MFers, built that company from ground zero. Something Musk has never done or Donald, for that matter. Gates isn't smarter than everyone like you think Musk is because of his brilliance in acquiring wealth.

Gates acquired his wealth, Jobs too, by building a product. They didn't do it purchasing already established products. It's a huge difference

He’s clearly brilliant.

He clearly said “fix the cows so they don’t do that [fart]”.

Both are true.

Why would Bill Gates expertise in developing operating systems, and setting up a monopoly to profit off it, make him worth listening to on the climate?

I didn’t reference Musk. I wouldn’t put much stock in what he has to say about the climate, either.

You seem to be going out of your way to work him in, so I’ll entertain your desires.

If “acquiring wealth” is so unimpressive (easy), then why doesn’t everyone?

Gates was lucky that a couple of computer manufacturers that couldnt recognize the best OS chose his the OS he was hawking.
There were better OS, they just weren’t marketed as well
And once Gates got a hook he did everything he could to create a monopoly

Yet another example of why it doesnt matter what we do here, as long as China pollutes more every year than the US and EU COMBINED. I doubt they even count much of the pollution in this video against China, as it occurs in Indonesia....but is 100% Chinese companies destroying the planet and people there. This video says 70% of the nickel mined in the world is "dirty nickel," mined with devastating effects to the environment. The largest factory there got approved from crooked (bribed) Indonesian officials to dump all their contaminated soil next to/in the big river that supplies the drinking water AND fish that makes up nearly all the protein the community eats. More "green BS". Different place. You should look up how all the Lithium is mined in Africa and elsewhere in the undeveloped world. Same crap. Same reason. Electric cars primarily because of their huge batteries...but also cellphones.

Also learned in this video that Australian Liberals apparently foisted a "Green New Deal" nonsense on their country as well. Big government rebates to buy electric cars...predominantly made in China due to price/geography as well as American made electrics. Same terrible Liberal legislations. Same terrible results. Supposed "green" regulations and laws that end up causing far more pollution than simply driving increasingly efficient gas powered cars whose miles per gallon has roughly doubled in the last 50 years.
