Monkeypox-alypse!!!!!

EXC: The Infamous Wuhan Lab Recently Assembled Monkeypox Strains Using Methods Flagged For Creating 'Contagious Pathogens'.

And here is the paper that Wuhan lab published in Feb:
Efficient assembly of a large fragment of monkeypox virus genome as a qPCR template using dual-selection based transformation-associated recombination

Basically - we needed to create a strain of monkeypox (because we didnt have any on hand) so we could you know, test it. Oh, and aren't we smart, now we can use similar PCR tests that we used for covid to detect this new strain. But don't you worry, we didn't make the complete virus, just a critical section of it. Whatever could go wrong?

And this comes out a few months before a new breakout of it and after actual planning for "what if" scenarios of global monkeypox. I mean, these people just don't care.
So we need to basically harass the cdc to shut down all the bs GOF crap they are doing and paying for.

I don’t know why this irks me so much. Maybe it’s because of the last two years being told to listen to the science and watch out for disinformation. But #4 is not scientific and is disinformation.

How to have SEX with monkeypox: CDC releases bizarre guide telling patients to ‘keep their clothes on’ or ‘masturbate six feet from their partner’ if the urge arises while infected

The CDC has issued bizarre guidance telling Americans infected with monkeypox to have sex by masturbating at least six feet away from their partner, among other recommendations.

Guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) says anyone who has the disease must not have sex.

But for those who ignore the advice, the agency has published a list of the dos and dont's under the bed sheets.

Among its tips was also to have sex while still fully-clothed, to ensure all rashes are covered and even to avoid kissing.

Too little, too late? NYC sexual health clinic offering monkeypox vaccine to gay and bi men is forced to close due to overwhelming demand, just days before Pride parties officials fear will trigger explosion in cases

New York City officials have come under fire for a botched rollout of moneypox vaccines for at-risk gay and bisexual men just two days before Pride — amid fears festivities for the annual event will trigger a surge in cases.

Thirty cases of the rash-causing virus have already been been detected in the Big Apple, with almost all among men who have sex with men.

In an attempt to stem cases, the city's Department of Health began rolling out vaccines at a walk-in center for gay or bisexual men who had multiple sexual partners over the last two weeks.

But after a line more than 100 men-long formed within hours, the city was forced to suspend the offer.

Monkeypox could become a 'permanently entrenched' STI in the US because early symptoms are 'easy to miss', Cornell expert warns - as cases jump to 244

Monkeypox may become a 'permanently entrenched' sexually transmitted infection (STI) in the US because its early symptoms are easy to miss, an expert has warned.

Dr Jay Varma, an epidemiologist at the Weill Cornell Medical School in New York City, said early infection signs are 'innocuous' and in hard to see places — like the inside of the anus — raising the likelihood it is missed.

America has recorded 244 monkeypox cases to date, with another 43 spotted this weekend across 25 states and Washington D.C.

The CDC's increased support comes as monkeypox Cases Continue To Spread Globally

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is activating its Emergency Operations Center (EOC) to help "supplement" the agency’s ongoing response to the current monkeypox outbreak, according to a recent press release.

"This action stands up the CDC’s command center for monitoring and coordinating the emergency response to monkeypox and mobilizing additional CDC personnel and resources," the agency said.

A high number of monkeypox cases are occurring in gay, bisexual and other men who have sex with men, according to early CDC data.

Monkeypox is rare disease caused by the monkeypox virus that belongs to the orthopoxvirus genus, which also includes the virus that causes smallpox called variola virus.

The disease is endemic in Africa, but since May 2022 monkeypox cases have been identified in approximately 25 states in the U.S. among people returning from international travel and their close contacts domestically.

There are currently 244 monkeypox cases in the United States and 4357 cases globally in 48 locations, as of June 27.

Window To Control Monkeypox 'starting to close,' former FDA Chief Says

Former FDA Commissioner Scott Gottlieb says the window for controlling the spread of Monkeypox is "starting to close" as cities across the country are struggling to vaccinate people against the virus.

Gottlieb, a member of the board at Pfizer, discussed the state of the Monkeypox outbreak while speaking with Margaret Brennan on CBS News's Face the Nation.

“I think the window for getting control and containing it probably has closed, and if it hasn't closed, it's certainly starting to close,” Gottlieb said.
