Cespedes just had another one of those misplayed doubles that he turned into an outfield assist. Gunned the runner down advancing to 3rd by a few steps. There would have to be a lot of great plays tonight for that to not be in the SCTop10

The Rockies starter just set the Rockies record (4) for most wild pitches in a game. Did it before the end of the 3rd inning. 3 was the previous record. He threw 3 wild pitches in the 2nd inning alone, in a span of 10 pitches.

In a place as unforgiving to pitchers as Denver, that's just rough. Mets had runners on 2nd and 3rd with no outs to start that 2nd inning. The following 2 pitches advanced and scored both of them.
