Interesting that some think MLB managers get fired quick. Didn't Chris Lemonis lead MSU to a National Championship recently and then got Axed this past season
Job security in the NCAA is far better for a baseball manager than in the MLB. Lemonis is a popular example but he won the title in 2021 and then underperformed for 4 straight seasons before finally getting canned.
The turnover of major league managers is pretty stark, especially considering the expanded post-season means ownership expects results faster than they have in the past.
