MLB 13 The Show

Yea was gonna mention the leaderboards. Thats cool. I have the pitcher glitch maybe twice a game but luckily never on two strikes. I jus never swing when it does

First game in AA with the Arkansas Travelers: 1-4 1 error and 1 bonehead base running mistake.....gotta learn the new controls

I think the MLB collection is the best part of DD. I could careless about the leaderboard.

The newer ball physics make it a buy for me. It is much better than last year and leaps better than 11 IMO. Can't tell if there are many other changes yet, have only played one game.

Same here. Ball physics are totally different this year, much more realistic.

Started a franchise with the Cubs and have played 3 games and I am 1-2 so far. The game is pretty similar to 12 but there are a few additions that make an already great game that much better. The presentations had a bit to the experience and they are very well done IMO. The improved ball physics are a thing of beauty and greatly increase the hit variety. Graphics are a bit crisper but not a lot to really tell a great difference. It's a very cleaned up version of 12 and worth a 60 dollar purchase if you are still on 11, but not sure if you are coming from 12 and very happy with 12. The only real negative I can see right now is the rare stuttering (has happened during 1 pitch for me) and the thing that has been the con of this game for a few years, commentary. There is just a lot of dead time in the commentary and could really use an overhaul and some tips from the 2K series. Overall a great game and probably the best sports titles out there.

I dug into DD a little more last night. Too many people took advantage of the money glitch already, so some of the market features are shutdown till they fix it. It really doesn't affect my gameplay though. I mainly just play games against to AI, get money from that, pay card packs and individual players to unlock MLB Collections. However, I might play a few more human games this year since they changed it from inning to inning on your XP, but I am not sure is you still get $$. Basically a person can end up quitting on you in the 4th but you still get credit up to that point.

I won my first game with Strasburg and Romo. I pitched Strasburg through the first out in the top of the 9th, and then brought in Romo to finish things out. Strasburg will not ride the pine for me, he will pitch till his damn arm falls off. You only get MLB players for 10 games anyway, so I will start him probably every 3 games to get 3 starts out of him.

I have a few very good DD players that I will train up once the market is opened back up. I have a CF that has 97 APT (higher the aptitude the cheaper it is the train a player) and since you have DD players for 30 games I will invest in him.

I think people are making a big deal out of nothing on this. OpSports and ShowNation posters have gone overkill on this. I notice it but it doesn't bug me.

I read, somewhere, that on the RTTS side they are trying to make it fill more like you are actually in the game versus hearing a true broadcast on TV. After hearing their reasoning I kinda like for RTTS.

actually i was hoping someone would admit it's basically the same game with prettier pictures that it was 2 years ago.

the bearcat seal of approval == avoid at all cost

I mean, what exactly do you expect??? At the end of the day it's still baseball...

Operation Sports heroes are the internet version of Comic Book Guy from The Simpson's

Yeah, but you can change the sound back to broadcast if you want. I prefer the field sounds myself

They freakout at the smallest of things. One guy almost had a breakdown because they didnt have Francona in the game..........Went on a two page rant about it until he was kindly reminded that he hadnt given permission to SCEA to use his likeness
