MLB 12 The Show

So I'm guessing this game is worth shelling out $300 for a console?

Would never suggest to a person that they should drop 300 bucks on a console for one game......even though the show is the best sports title hand down bar none. If you have some disposable income, sure, thats what I did. But thats just something that you will have to answer for yourself........looking back on it, I dropped more than 300 and it has been worth it to me even though I really only play the show on my PS3. Just my .02

Luckily you can modify as you go. I really didn't want to modify everything up front. So far I really like the concept behind diamond dynasty. You can not just pay to win games. It does require building up dynasty players. Sure you could buy a few wins but for me that takes the fun out. I will buy packets but use the pros every so often...

Lost first game 7-2 to Baltimore. One lonely two run homer.

Do you have to buy anything? Or can you just build your club?

You can just build. I bought a pitchers pack and a single card because someone WAY under priced Ichiro for 5k.... So I have him for 10 games now. Other stars were going 20-40 million.... Pure luck that I saw it when I did!

How do you guys like it compared to 11?

Anything drastically different?

Lighting is much improved and it looks smoother, but the biggest difference its the ball physics......its amazing and worth the 60. One of my first hits was a slicing line drive to right center and the hooking of the ball was the best I have ever seen in a baseball game. I absolutely loved 11, but 12 feels so much more realistic.

I feel like even when I time everything perfectly, I hit a POS ground ball back to the pitcher.

It might be because my up and down motion isn't completely straight. I was always bad about that in Tiger Woods.
