These impressions are from guys (who I play league with) who have gotten the game early (today). Most of them are leaders over at a gaming site I frequent.

First impression

Pulse Pitching is gonna take some practice. I can tell I'm gonna like this addition this year. If it's not timed right you really run the risk of the other team going yard especially vs some of the more powerful hitters.

What's kinda weird but in a good way is that when using the PP when a power hitter comes up to the plate, that's when my hands start to quiver and my palms get sweaty. Wonder if this is what SCEA/Russell wanted us to feel with this feature??? Incredible how these guys can come up with this stuff. Facing AP of the Angels and I was all over the plate due to getting nervous and not hitting the mark. Lol

Finally finished a whole game with Cubs vs Marlins

Final box score

Cubs 0 3 1
Mia 2 3 0

I played this game on default All Star with PPitching and Pure Analog hitting. It was Garza against Johnson.

Had some beautiful outfield diving plays, and a liner pop right off the end of Castro's glove and trickle into the outfield. I made good contact against Josh, but obviously the Cubs do not have a ton of talent on the offensive side of the ball.

Coolest thing I witnessed...I actually balked a run from 3rd base. I said balked...not walked. I had two balks in this game, and both were legit.

The day-night transition is about as good as it gets

I have to take a break for a couple of hours, but will get to answering your questions in the other thread later this afternoon. So little time, so much..well you know what I mean.

The Bullpen now has 3 options to choose from.
1. Warm up

2. Stretch And Toss- Pitcher warms up quickly with the intent to go in the game at any time.

3. Put in game.

I believe #2 is a new feature?

I've been pacing Target for the past 10 minutes deciding whether or not I should pull the trigger on the Uncharted PS3 bundle. The things this game is making me want to do...

Yeah do it. I bought my ps3 last year just to play this game. Haven't played my Xbox since..all the games I buy are for the ps3.

You won't regret it.

We'll see. I actually purchased the same bundle at Target like 3 weeks ago when I could never find it, but at the time I had low funds and didn't feel the purchase was worth it so I returned the PS3. Ever since then I've seen the bundle at all the Targets around Memphis and my birthday has come and gone so I've got well enough money. I've been itching to buy it. Tomorrow may just be the day when I finally see MLB 12 on the shelves.
